While the Chiefs are 50:1 they are not at the bottom.

For example Oakland and Jacksonville are 150:1.

The Patriots are on top with the Broncos close behind.

My Saints are 18:1.

150/1

DaKCMan AP 02-05-2013 12:43 PM

Yeah, I saw them @ 150/1, not 50/1.

Also the Jags were @ 200/1, not 150/1.

At the top were Denver & San Fran @ 5/1.

Phobia has a better chance at getting pregnant than the chiefs winning the SB

houstonwhodat 02-05-2013 12:47 PM

I'm seeing different reports but I haven't seen the Chiefs yet at 150/1?

Daniel Tosh posted a picture of the Vegas odds and they had the Chiefs at 150/1.

Well if that's true several other outlets are reporting different figures.

How can there by so much difference?

That makes more sense but then again when in Vegas I've seen some different odds based on the location of the sportsbook.

On that ticket at the bottom it says "odds subject to change".

So who knows.

Depends on the day I guess.

First off that's not a betting ticket, that's a betting sheet and no more than a guide.Once you go up to the window to place your bet it's always wise to double check and see where the odds stand at that precise moment.

I think they have to stick to the original agreement. I'm sure they put that on there so you cant argue "but it's 250/1 now"

You can see how much I know about betting.

Looks like there is a MGM Grand ticket for the Chiefs at 150/1 though?

Yes there is,however you don't see odds subject to change on it.Once you've placed your bet and been given the ticket the odds are locked in.The sheet that you posted are printed by the books sometimes on a daily basis, these sheets enable the bettor to go back to a seat, their room etc. to get an idea which way they're betting.

Futures bets like what we're discussing are usually best bet the earlier you get in.Once teams start making moves the odds can change dramatically in as much as a devastating injury can affect the odds as well.

Right. For instance, if we decide to keep Cassel as the starter, the odds will increase to 1 billion to 1.

You're right.

So looks like the Chiefs odds changed from 150 to 50/1.

As long as they pay off on the bet placed at the time then hell go with it.

Wish I could place a bet here in Houston but we don't have gambling here.

Wonder how I could place one in Vegas long distance?
