Munson 11-19-2012 07:45 PM

Kaepernick > Cassel

Aggressiveness works, I don't get where these coaches get their conservatism from

Buck 11-19-2012 07:47 PM

Run the ****ing ball. Christ.

cyborgtable 11-19-2012 07:48 PM

Difference between aggressive and stupid

Dylan 11-19-2012 07:48 PM

I guess I'll root for SF

Hell with Green Bay. Rather see Chicago lose tonight...No?

Would you rather host GB or Chicago in a first round playoff game?

Buck, I don't think the Giants are going to make it that far...They're in their yearly slump right now.

Tom will be on the hot seat again next year.

i plan on dosing acid to sensationalize it.

Buck 11-19-2012 07:53 PM

Maybe the Bears won't go full reerun if they make it downfield like the Niners did.

I think you guys will. I would root for SF tonight if I were a Giants fan.

Simply Red 11-19-2012 07:55 PM

Campbell has whipped our ass at least once, IIRC.

The 2 stooges in the booth will suck them off enough to where we'll think it's Elway-Montana reincarnate.

Who in the division is going to take it from you? The Eagles stink, the Cowboys will find a way to screw it up, and the Redskins aren't very good. You guys always stink this time of year only to regrettably catch fire and beat the evil empire

Simply Red 11-19-2012 07:57 PM

yeah i have MAYBE until halftime before crashing, I'm turning over a new leaf.

-King- 11-19-2012 08:00 PM

That throw... MAN!

Dylan 11-19-2012 08:00 PM

OMG .... Wow

cyborgtable 11-19-2012 08:00 PM

How long until Smith is gone? if Collin keeps playing like this

SAUTO 11-19-2012 08:00 PM

Great throw

TD San Fran. Kaepernick throwing some nice passes.

Stanley Nickels 11-19-2012 08:00 PM

Two firsts and a second for Kapernick!!

Pasta Little Brioni 11-19-2012 08:00 PM

Whoa

cyborgtable 11-19-2012 08:01 PM

TD, good thow

Buck 11-19-2012 08:01 PM

I guess the Niners are who I'm rooting for if the Bolts or Skins miss the playoffs.

cyborgtable 11-19-2012 08:01 PM

Makes me laugh, listening to the radio earlier and the fans said Collin Kapernick (spelling?) was the best prepared and ESPN said he was the worst off lol.

Isn't that a fun feeling? Having to pick a backup team? Ugh.

Dylan 11-19-2012 08:03 PM

Question: Where did SF find this quarterback?

Imagine if he stays mistake free tonight...J.C. hell of a drive - great arm

He had a remarkable career at Nevada. There were questions about his ability versus better talent, but had all the measurables

Pasta Little Brioni 11-19-2012 08:06 PM

Let's trade for another Niner backup!!!! LMAO

It ****ing sucks. I grew up hating the Niners because out here everyone and their brother was a fan when I was young. Then we lost to them in the Super Bowl.

Their stint with ineptitude plus the ineptitude of our front office has basically taken away any hatred of them I've had. Plus Alex Smith was QB of my high school team.

I remember Missouri played them a couple of times back in the Daniel era. Missouri won both games, but they played us tough and he looked impressive.

I also remember hoping the Chiefs would take a chance on him. Oh well.

Pasta Little Brioni 11-19-2012 08:07 PM

I have but one team. **** every other especially the Donks and Faid.

Glad to help. But Why? Why would you do that to yourself?

Hope you beat them on Sunday.

I'm just kidding - The Jets had a great Sunday. Happy to see your team win.

ROFL it was good to finally get a win in St. Louis. only 2 more stadiums left

Pepe Silvia 11-19-2012 08:16 PM

Wow, could there be a QB controversy looming in the Bay area? Hopefully he can keep it up, its pretty impressive how hes picked apart the Bears D on the first few drives so far.

BigMeatballDave 11-19-2012 08:17 PM

Smith may not see the field again for SF.

-King- 11-19-2012 08:17 PM

Alex Smith better not miss another week. One more week of this and Kaepernick might get to keep the job.

cyborgtable 11-19-2012 08:17 PM

He is just picking them apart. I'm sure not having film is hurting the Bears especially their style of D but even with this it is awesome to watch

Simply Red 11-19-2012 08:17 PM

SF back up better than Cassel or Quinn.

Dylan 11-19-2012 08:18 PM

I'm a little surprised the Bears defense is pretty basic tonight. Right?

Great for Kaeljdkjdflk...

No. Look at Smith's stats. He's earned the job.

cyborgtable 11-19-2012 08:19 PM

Why can't we find a qb who can play well

chefsos 11-19-2012 08:19 PM

Just tuned in. Three backs in for SF? Wow, I don't think I've seen that in the NFL. At least not recently.

guitarmy21b 11-19-2012 08:19 PM

Kaepernick looks great so far. This game is over, Campbell sucks.

Simply Red 11-19-2012 08:19 PM

Kaeljdkjdflk looks more Iranian than Frankie.

-King- 11-19-2012 08:19 PM

Blowout. Its funny how the Bears collapse without Cutler.

LiveSteam 11-19-2012 08:20 PM

well this game sucks

Titty Meat 11-19-2012 08:20 PM

Looks like a QB controversy

JoeyChuckles 11-19-2012 08:20 PM

The 49ers are the anti-Chiefs. I am so jealous.

Dylan 11-19-2012 08:20 PM

Wow... TD SF

what happened to the Bears defense?

BigMeatballDave 11-19-2012 08:21 PM

Pioli will trade for Smith...

Being basic hurts against someone you don't have much film of. By not being able to prepare for their strengths and weaknesses you truly have to play basic. The bears defense is very easy to beat schematically but they play it so disciplined and know you better than you do it becomes tough to beat. Without film it makes it more difficult but should not be this bad especially since the whole concept is to not let the big play happen

Good point.

Kaekpldkj looks like he's ready to take SF to the Super Bowl. LOL

xztop12 11-19-2012 08:25 PM

It almost appears as if having a bad quarterback negatively effects a teams defense. Weird idea.

I think you might be on to something

Simply Red 11-19-2012 08:26 PM

that guy has beat the Chiefs fairly recently.

-King- 11-19-2012 08:28 PM

Welp...I'm done.

cyborgtable 11-19-2012 08:28 PM

Change your freaking snap count. Their jumping everytime and a pick

Buck 11-19-2012 08:28 PM

Trouncing in progress.

GloryDayz 11-19-2012 08:29 PM

Wow... I swear it's like the Niners are in the Bear's huddle!

GloryDayz 11-19-2012 08:31 PM

LOL.... The linebackers need to shift more.. They're getting set WAY early!

Honestly, it depends. Being basic is fantastic if that is what gives you the best chance of performing well. Additionally, it provides you an opportunity if you were to meet further down the road, which it seems likely the 49ers and Bears could. By playing conservatively or more basic, you could prevent that team from exposing aspects on tape for when it matters most. For example, the 49ers used a 2-guard pull against the Giants in their playoff game but not against anyone else IIRC. The Cardinals in 08 refused to run the ball with Edge until the playoffs.

GloryDayz 11-19-2012 08:32 PM

When do you not want to get points? What a dumbass!

Thats fair, but IMO the Bears defense has been the simply tampa 2 since Lovie came there, they have fantastic personnel for it but they are almost always basic vs anybody and are amazing at film study. If they meet again it will work to their advantage due to knowing Keapernick's tendencies better

Sorter 11-19-2012 08:35 PM

Actually, they did switch up their stunts and blitzes from their base personnel in their most recent playoff stint.

Agree with the last sentence completely. However, it is doubtful they'll see Colin.

BigMeatballDave 11-19-2012 08:37 PM

Can't believe the Bears D is getting gashed like this.

Idk bout the last sentence, their offense tonight is fundamentally different tonight. With Smith in he has the power to change plays but hot routes and sight adjustments are built in every play and it becomes a matter of knowing them. Tonight there are actual hot routes adjusting to the blitzes and more variation in the passing game
