Chiefs worse than the Royals?

I would not have thought it possible for the Chiefs to be worse than the Royals.:shake:
I am begining to believe it is true that 22 guys off the street could win 2 games?:banghead:
My L key may be worn out by the end of the season.:(
LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLounge? How did this mess start? As far back as Herm? In the final thought where did this organazation start to go wrong?:shake:

stonedstooge 11-18-2012 06:58 PM

Royals going to do it next year baby!

Chiefs Pantalones 11-18-2012 06:59 PM

We're not that bad yet as a whole, but close.

tk13 11-18-2012 07:01 PM

I don't think there's any question. This team is complete and utter failure, and most of the games aren't even close. It'd be like the Royals losing 10-1 almost every single night. Every week's another embarrassing blowout.

And the Chiefs are playing in the league that is supposed to have parity.

ChiefsCountry 11-18-2012 07:02 PM

Royals while sucking, have never just pissed off the fanbase by being comlete ****heads. Royals games even when the lose are still fun to go to.

RealSNR 11-18-2012 07:03 PM

The Royals have been putting up these kinds of seasons far longer than the Royals.

However, the Chiefs benefit from a league that promotes parity to occasionally dig themselves out of the muck and at least post a winning season once in awhile.

Either way, Pioli is gone. We're getting a new coach and a franchise QB. I can't complain about the direction this team is about to take.

Basic math disagrees:
72 - 90 = .444
1 - 9 = .100

if the Chiefs won out to go 7-9 they would STILL be worse this season at .438

RunKC 11-18-2012 07:05 PM

The Royals have NEVER had a season as bad as the Chiefs are having this year.

As a whole meaning years, not one year. One year of this embarrassment doesn't automatically mean the Royals are a better organization. That will be told later on. The Royals have been awful for years upon years. The Chiefs are two years removed from a division title. The Royals are still the shittier organization between the two shitty organizations. But that's a cripple fight.

I'm sure if theRoyals fielded a football team yes, the Chiefs would be worse.

1969. But who's counting. :)

manchambo 11-18-2012 07:15 PM

Is the question whether the Chiefs are worse than the Royals at baseball or football? At baseball, definitely. At football, maybe.

Ok, I am a Broncos' fan. I knew it was a long time.

KCUnited 11-18-2012 07:17 PM

The Royals are the last professional team to win a game in KC and it's ****ing Thanksgiving.

Iowanian 11-18-2012 07:17 PM

No.

The Royals have won a championship during my lifetime.

The Royals had a far superior winning percentage than the Chiefs this season.......and even though they also have a semi-erect absentee owner, he has never openly targeted fans who disagree with the job he's doing through his GM.

I know that, but I was going by the season not the year.

Apples to Apples

GloryDayz 11-18-2012 07:24 PM

Fail is fail.. And this is long-term fail - of epic proportion! The owners are to blame and should be charged removed from their positions. If either league cared, they'd have clauses, relative to continued ownership, for dead-beat owners like these. At a minimum, if they're trying, force them to spend all their league-derived cash on the team - no financial shell games. They buy talent or they sell for 15% under the team's estimated value.

Or they can just do nothing and let the teams that play thee clowns to enjoys those days/weeks when these two teams are the other team's opponents.

Luke 11-18-2012 07:25 PM

Dammit Carl?

Fairly reasonable answers. It seems even Lamar had some bad years, although
to me it seems Clark is not being very succesful as his father. As much as I have tried to forget the Levy years it seems there have been more valleys than peaks for this franchise.

I remember when the Royals and Yankees were in the hunt for the title backing years. I don't recall the Chiefs having big rivaleries with Oakland and Denver, yet not more than one or two years running.

From my point of view when David Glass took over the Royals was the begining of the downturn. I have a hard time pinpointing that point with the Chiefs.

Hopefully I am not the only one who is begining to lose hope for this franchise.

For me it was when Scheurholz left for Atlanta

Messier 11-18-2012 07:37 PM

Baseball football comparisons are hard, just too different, that said the Chiefs need about four more seasons like this one to equal the ineptitude of the Royals 2002-2007.

Well, Denver has a tough game next week.

JCharles1981 11-19-2012 03:52 AM

As long as David Glass is in charge, the Royals will continue to be worse than the Chiefs. The Chiefs might have not been to the Superbowl since 1970, but at least they've made the post season several times. The Royals have not made the post season in the MLB even ONCE since their 1985 World Series win.

AussieChiefsFan 11-19-2012 04:23 AM

This year yes. Next year and beyond, id say no

Deberg_1990 11-19-2012 08:32 AM

What a depressing time for Pro Sports in KC.......

I cant remember a time when the Royals and Chiefs were both this bad at the same time.
