An ESPN report on the latest regarding Ben Roethlisberger's injured shoulder is that the staff has been told "to proceed with" Byron Leftwich as this week's starter against the Baltimore Ravens.

Roethlisberger suffered a sprain of the SC joint in his throwing shoulder in Monday night's overtime win over the Kansas City Chiefs. The SC joint is in the front of the shoulder and links the shoulder to the arm. Roethlisberger was knocked out of the game in the third quarter and also suffered a rib injury on the hit.

The injury was termed as "pretty significant" and Roethlisberger was said to be in a lot of pain on Tuesday.

The Steelers could not have had a worse time for the injury to occur as they play their chief AFC North rival, the Ravens, twice in the next three weeks. Baltimore currently has a one-game lead in the division race.

I think it meant Medical staff is telling them not Front office.

I'm note sure how that is forcing someone to play Leftwhich? Staff got a memo saying that big Ben is out, that's all.

Too bad the trade deadline is past, might have been able to get something out of cAssHole if this had happened sooner.

That's funny, I thought it was Arians who was getting him hurt.

ElGringo 11-13-2012 02:45 PM

So, this means we will trade that #1 overall pick for Leftwich?

why? When it happens to the chiefs it's Dr. Evil's master plan to force the coaches to play a certain player.

So when it happens to the steelers it's just a 'organizational decision'?

this place is full of shit ... per norm

Do you know the difference between fact and opinion? If so, you'd see that your comparison doesn't make sense.

fact vs opinion flew out the window around here a long time ago

people post stories that are complete conjecture ... if it's bad, then it's considered fact. If it's good, then it's consider opinion.

I could probably post a story claiming that Pioli was responsible for global warming and someone around here would try to make it sound feasible.

IF this story was about the Chiefs it would be Hunt is too cheap to get anyone better than leftwich and/or Pioli was forcing Leftwich on the coaches.

ChiefsCountry 11-13-2012 03:55 PM

Laz is being a complete reerun on this.

Mr. Laz 11-13-2012 03:56 PM

just wait for all the tinfoil hat bullshit that pops up about the starting QB for the Chiefs this week.

fact/opinion my ass
