Shaved head, goatee. Yeah, that's me. I've tried to shave my goatee but the wife complains. Is it that she likes my goatee or thinks my clean shaven face is ugly? Hmmmm...

I shave my head other than a long mongolian ponytail in the back.

Actually, I shave the ponytail, too.

bsp4444 08-10-2011 01:43 PM

#2 on the sides, nothing on top (by genetics) and a goatee.

Coach 08-10-2011 01:46 PM

Goatee here. Neatly trimmed.

4th and Long 08-10-2011 02:01 PM

Was going to rock shaved head/full beard, but decided that would call undue attention in my rather conservative corporate environment. Kinda bummed about it still, really.

MOhillbilly 08-10-2011 02:44 PM

shaved my head in 90'. Talk about a fist magnet. Rocked the chops, beard, goat, & handle bar at some point over the past 21 yrs. Clean shaved these days.

You shave your head? Never would've guessed that.

Los Pollos Hermanos 08-10-2011 02:58 PM

I used to have the shaved head with a goatee. But I've grown the hair and beard out.

And I don't wear jorts anymore.

Fire Me Boy! 04-25-2015 02:42 PM

Folks that shave your head... anyone use an electric razor? I've been shaving for a few months now, and I think either I have a sensitive scalp or maybe I'm allergic to something in the products. Every time I do a clean shave, I start getting some break outs. I don't have that problem if I just use the clippers with no guard, but I prefer the clean look to the 2-day growth.

Easy 6 04-25-2015 03:00 PM

I definitely shave my head and have a goatee... but a goatee isn't what most people think it is.

What most call a goatee is actually called a Van Dyke, a true goatee is just some chin hair... not the mustache with lines running down the mouth to some chin hair.

I must be a trendsetter heh, because ever since I got rid of the mustache/lines part I've been seeing more and more guys with the same look... everyone has gotten tired of that same old look that people call a goatee.

Sweet Daddy Hate 04-25-2015 03:06 PM

Do you have kind of a Bruce Willis longer type thing up top where you're trying to hang on as long as possible, foreheads receding bad but still have a little bit up top?

Its kinda hard to describe what I want to ask... but to use myself as an example, theres no point trying to hang on up top, I've got the classic horseshoe horseshit going on.

I could still have damned respectable ponytail LMAO but the dirt is bad up top... no point trying to farm it any longer.

Use Bump Patrol, or another similar aftershave primarily marketed to African-American consumers, to help stop breakouts.

If you want to go electric, this will be your friend. Lots of barbers swear by it for clients who have easily irritated scalps. http://www.amazon.com/Wahl-5-Star-Shaver/dp/B003K1R162

Nothing like jammin' some AIC in a Louisiana dive bar.

The hair is gone...just a regular #5 haircut now. :(

And I would seriously have loved to be there in some southern bar listening to you guys covering AIC.

Some kind of $200 head scraper?

I'll take my dollar general 5 blade jobbers for $5.50 instead, pretty much get 2 months worth of smooth shaves for a little over five bucks, not bad.

Munson 04-25-2015 07:27 PM

I assumed that roughly 75% of CP is sporting the shaved head + goatee look.

I've been giving myself a buzzcut for about 20 yrs, but the past 2 months I started using a razor on my head. Keeps me from using the clippers, which I find to be a chore because it makes a mess.

It's like $15. Not any more expensive than a brand name razor and blades. And it works awesome.

I really like their products too, but I think I'm sensitive to stuff in it.

Any razor does, that's the problem. As far as razors go, the Headblade is great. The look is dumb, but the fiction is solid.
