Bob's Burgers

Has anyone caught Bob's Burgers yet? It's pretty damn funny IMO.

That is all.

Watched the first 5 minutes of the premier. Didn't even crack a smile. Seems like something ideal for CN, not Fox

Better than that piece of shit Sons of Tucson. They should bring back American Dad though.

Seemed pretty horrible from what I saw.

H Jon Benjamin should stick to Archer

Spicy McHaggis 01-21-2011 12:28 PM

Watched the first two episodes. The second held up better than the premiere. Loren Bouchard and H. Jon Benjamin's humor aren't for everyone, but I've enjoyed Benjamin's characters in the past. When his dead-pan hits right, it's hilarious.

haven't seen it, my dilbert meter was ringing "boring" and "cheap" when I saw the previews.

Portlantis 01-21-2011 05:04 PM

It was alright.

Justin Benjamin is always awesome, as is Kristen Shaal.

But this sort of pales in comparison to Brouchard's earlier shows, Dr. Katz and Home Movies. It feels like they're trying too hard to force the material into a conventional sitcom format in order to make it palatable to Fox viewers.

Gonna bump this...I didn't like the show at first, but now that I've seen more episodes I think this is an underrated show. The humor is different, but I think that's what drew me in.

Louise is a hilarious character as well. I'd recommend it.

Justin?

Do you mean H. Jon Benjamin?

Sure. It's always a solid career move to limit yourself to one job...

Loneiguana 06-27-2013 06:36 AM

My favorite show on television.

Yeah that is how I am as well. For some reason I feel ashamed by that. :hmmm:

Similar to the Cleveland Show... I wanted to like it. I tried to like it. But I didn't like it...

KC_Lee 06-27-2013 09:11 AM

Love the show, loved Dr. Katz and Home Movies as well.

Megbert 06-27-2013 10:29 AM

Loved it from the beginning. Find it funnier second time I watch.

Bowser 06-27-2013 01:20 PM

Never drew me in.

However, the Archer season premier last season was ****ing hilarious.

Jarni 06-27-2013 06:16 PM

This is actually my favorite out of the cartoon selection on Fox. The characters all have their endearing quirks and you can't help but feel some of the painful childhood awkwardness shown in the show. I also think it has improved from the first season, which makes it a lot more refreshing than the Simpsons same old thing different week line up.
