Uh, Oh Rodgers is my starting QB
My backup is Luck, so I'm not hosed. But still thinking if Rodgers is out 4-5 weeks with a collarbone injury, then I better jump on another QB. My league actually has a few decent options. Alex Smith is available and has actually put up decent fantasy numbers several times this year, plus he faces all bottom of the league pass defenses the rest of the year. Cutler is available and is supposed to come back next week. Foles is available and after his 7 TD performance last week, I'm very tempted to grab him. But one week does not a season make. He was crap against Denver and Dallas but phenomenal against TB and Chokeland. Then there's Wallace. He is doing well in relief of Rodgers and has good weapons. Eli is available too, and he has been better lately and has a history of finishing a season strong. I don't know. Any thoughts?

Foles would be very tempting but then you remember the two bad games. Do you have two defenses and one that has had a bye yet? You could replace it with a temporary QB until Rogers returns. This time of year is tough with the injuries.

Game over man.

Just bend me over and stick it in.

Just stick with Luck, he is a QB1 for a lot of people.
No need to turn your team upside down (ie, drop someone important) to replace a QB that may only be out for 3 weeks. |
Pick up Foles, as he has higher upside than Luck.

Platooning Cutler and Foles looks like a solid strategy.

I traded Mike Wallace for Tony Romo.

DAWG. Are you kidding? Start Luck and feel good doing it. Don't even **** around and try to get cute here.
If you feel like you have a roster spot available and you want to snag another QB then, sure, pick up Foles. But don't **** around man.. start Luck. If Foles becomes unavailable, another high-upside guy that I like is Keenum. |

I think he'll be just fine. |

People pull their hair out over matchups this time of year. So unnecessary. Always start studs. |

Say what you want about his rankings but there isn’t a person who, if there was a re-draft today for the rest of this season, would take Foles over Luck. |

LOL. A guy in my league had 3 QB's on his roster. He chose to drop Rivers to pick up a kicker (He kept Romo and Newton) because his was on by. I jumped on that and dropped Boykin. Rivers should put up big fantasy points against Denver this week. I'm not so worried about losing Rodgers now.

Still drafting Luck based on his pedigree over Foles' production? |
Played Rivers over Luck today thinking Rivers would rape against the Donks defense. I guess I shouldn't have, 16.8 for Luck, 13.8 for Rivers

Could my opinion change if this were to continue? Of course. But that's the way fantasy goes. BTW, Gio got me 19.5 despite his "brutal" matchup. Your pick of Spiller got a whopping 6.4 |

So it goes. I started Gio in one league, didn't in another (where there were no truly bad options: Bush, Stacy, Gio, 'Dre Brown). |
232/31/1. Lucktastic!
