CHIEFS GAME MOVED TO LA!
NFL officials just confirmed as well. Like the idea of proceeds going to help fire victims, including first responders. Maybe encourage fans to bring necessities to game for donations, à la Harvesters. So much for training in Denver, Coach McVay. ROFL

when do tickets go on sale? From poor field conditions to poor air quality. The lesser of two evil's? Actually Mexico City has both. They are just eliminating one.
|
If true, thank God.
Finally, some common sense from the N$F$L . . . . . . |
Viva Mexico!
|
Great so we can get screwed by the refs now
|
Let's GO!
|
Ok thank god they got out of mexico **** them.
|
I HAVE SOME SERIOUS MONDAY DECISIONS TO MAKE
|
|
What about those that already paid for flights and hotels in MC?

Wonder how they're going to handle tickets. May have to see if I can go.

The obvious decision the NFL had to make.
|
Good on the NFL for taking player safety seriously in this case. This is going to be a HUGE hassle for them and will likely cost them a ton of money. Not to mention ruining the travel plans of a ton of people making the trip down there.
But I'm glad it's being moved. It'd be catastrophic if one of our key players (or theirs) went down with an ACL or something because of this. |
Better this way.
|
Roger had no choice. A lot of star players would sit and a very bland game of football would have been played if not.
|
WOWEEE! What a mess!
But I'm glad. |

I bet we lose - sorry - I hope not - but definitely don't feel as good about the game now. Oh well.

Good job NFL you finally did the right thing.

Well that kinda sucks.
I was hoping for that neutral site road game. |

True. The Chargers game was 75% kc right ? |
You could try and pay the cost difference between LA and MC. I’ve had to cancel trips at the last minute and got some of the cost back.

What's hilarious is that the Rams have wasted 2 days of travel by going to Colorado to get acclimated to the altitude

I don't mind them not having to play at a high elevation, either. |

Now hopefully they'll give up on this out of country nonsense

They (Mexico City) have no one to blame but themselves. It’s not like this game just snuck up on them.

I don't expect that margin at this point in the season with the Rams, especially considering their record and the hype. But still, LA is LA. I don't foresee Mahomes having any trouble being heard calling plays. |

Interesting that Reid said he didn't care about the altitude, maybe he does and knew about this all along?
I seem nice. |
We've been acclimating to sea level for 2 days now. Great call Andy! :D
|
And the events coordinators for that stadium had better be prepared for an unholy ass-kicking.
Seriously - how in the actual **** do you let that happen? 'First come, first serve' isn't exactly a viable business plan when you have a contractual obligation to an international, billion dollar property like the NFL. The NFL can/should sue the **** out of some people over it. This is remarkably bush league. |
ESPN reporting that the Lambs are not returning to LA from Colorado Springs until Saturday.
That can't be right unless they are staying in Colorado Springs to avoid the wildfire issues? |

I'm assuming the tickets will be wide open for purchase? We need to fill that stadium with Chiefs fans.

NFL going to get that wall funded.

Man, can you imagine the switchboard at Arrowhead this afternoon? All the pissed off people who made airline and hotel reservations? Jeez, what a cluster F. This makes the league look really disorganized. I'm sure the players are relieved they don't have to go down and play on a stitched together rug at altitude. And as far as smog in LA goes, we can bring in a lot of oxygen tanks for the sidelines. That's no big deal.
|
Another reason to just get that damn wall built

Extra home game for the Chiefs. This is perfect. There will be WAY more Chiefs fans there.

When the Packers came out here, it was easily 50-50 and maybe 60-40 Packers fans. We should be able to get close to that.

settle down beavis, it wasn't any single event. |
This is actually better for the Chiefs. We already played in LA once this year. So they're used to being in SoCal.
