Does Your Dog Drink Alcohol?
1 Attachment(s)
I think my dog is an alcoholic.
Whenever I bust out some Heineken or Jack Daniels & Coke she has to get her fix. The wife thinks I'm nuts. When she starts drinking beer I have to push her away she likes it so much. |
Funny I just mentioned this in another thread. My boxers love beer, especially the male.
|
I had a dog that used to drink single malt Scotch and eat weed.
He was the best dog ever. |

Bowzer wants to know, are you buying?
Hope you're not expecting him to lick any peanut butter or anything.... |
That's actually somewhat dangerous. Dogs can't process alcohol like people, and their reduced body weight makes it much more potent. You're not doing your dog any favors by doing this....
|
mine licked whatever was spilled on the kitchen floor.
that's about it. I'd beat the hell outa someone if they fed it to him. |

He'd sit in the corner afterwards and shake. And if you pulled out a bag, he'd growl at you until you gave him some. |

She's hard to resist. |

My German Shephard tries to drink my beer all the time.
|
My loves beer too...but when it happen...I only let him get one or two laps. I've seen some dogs tip over beers to get at the nectar.
|
My brittany spaniel will drink most beers, no hard stuff but hes 14 in dog yeArs. Maybe he can still grow into it. My uncles german shepard will pick up bottles and tilt her head back and chug em down its the best party trick ever!
|
ZOh yeah! My dog is a pill head and alcoholic.
He broke his paw a few years ago and got hooked on the pain meds. Whenever I grab any bottle of pills, he gets all excited. With alcohol, he tries to drink it out of my glass. |
my cat will drink beers out of the glass if you leave it out around him. phobia has met this cat; he's a little odd. the cat is, not phob....scratch that, they're both a little weird.

That's what the wife wanted. She's 7 years old. |
had a lab that would open my cooler w/her nose, stick her head in and grab a can. then she'd bite into it, drop it on the ground and lap it all up.
my other lab wouldn't touch the stuff. i figured she was a Baptist. sec |

I'm moving to Denver in a couple of years. By then you should be able to buy weed over the counter at a liquor store. Rocky Mountain High... |

Nothing wrong with pouring a little out on the patio on a nice night.

Ah! I'd be drinking too. She's obviously a Browns fan and Colt just got knocked on his ass.

Nah, she's a Saints fan. That was just some photos I was editing. |
My current dog is a beer bitch.
When I was a teen and hit the ganj, all the pals would come over and head to the basement. Our dog at that time would start wagging his tail and promptly follow us down. If we locked him out he would start crying till he got a hit. He would take one pull, then head back upstairs for some kibble and nap. |

My cocker always begging for my beer and if I sit it down and leave it on the table, he'll crawl there to get a taste
|
I don't feed my dogs beer. I very rarely have any budweiser products laying around.
|
Be careful about wine. Grapes are highly poisonous to dogs.

My youngest Basset will knock over any can on the floor and drink it. He is hoping for beer but will drink whatever he just knock over. The only beer I give him is whatever is spilled. He knows where the beer fridge is and checks for a can at his level all the time.

My boxer loves beer. Sits watching me drink from the pint glass. Every now and then I will put a little on my finger for him to lick off, but thats about it.
|
One of my dogs loves Woodchuck. I drink it when I'm...uhh...chasing moonshine. Yeah, moonshine.

Please change your CP post names immediately, PETA is now spying this site to see exactly who is supplying alcohol to canines according to a twitter account. The primary concern they have is not actually the canine alcohol consumption per se but the following hangover. There is the possibility that the united postal carriers union will join the melee as well. In a tea party response to this situation there has been a marked uptick in pet adoptions from local pounds as well as liquor sales. One patron stated "they can have my bird dogs shine when they pry it from his cold dead paws"

If PETA throws red paint at me because of you guys I'm going to be pissed.
