I've read that he's not very smart, though I don't recall the source(s). Either way, I wouldn't want my franchise to trust its offense to someone who can't execute an advanced NFL gameplan or make smart adjustments at the line.

Geno Smith has proven he is a pocket passer and doesn't run much. Why do people care that he runs a 4.6 or 4.8 at the combine?? I wish he wouldn't even run that 40-yard dash, because that's useless in his case.

If Geno runs a 4.6, it means that even though he's a passer, when he DOES run he's capable of making a big play.

And I honestly think if he runs that, we oughta put some spread options in our offense because it would be sicknasty in tandem with Jamarrrllll.
