Rob Ryan Back On The Market - Won't Be Rams DC
So where will he land?
http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com...e-coordinator/ http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap100...s-rams-defense “After extensive conversations regarding defensive philosophy, the Rams and Rob Ryan agreed he was not the right fit for the DC position. The Rams will conitnue the interview process with the club’s other candidates for the defensive coordinator position.” |
It has been more than five minutes.

Most overrated dc in the league

He might be a OK DC if he could shut his mouth.

Im gonna do some more IFing.....
IF RAC wants to just retire and IF Eric Mangini just wants to keep his plush TV job Then, I could see Rob landing with the Saints. FWIW, I was surprised the Chiefs never got Mangini on staff during or after the Pioli era. So I'm wondering IF that says something about him wanting to just stay at ESPN? Personally, I think the guy (Mangini) is very bright and would be a good hire, IF they could get him out of TV. But that's me. |
Him like his brother is too much of a hothead.

Whoa, what? Do you have any idea how much BB and SP hated Mangini after the whole Spygate thing? I doubt you'll ever see Mangini on the same team as either of them, or any of their close buds, again. |
Yeah, the saints would be a good place for him. That is if Romeo doesn't want the job. Saints DC Rob Ryan. Doesn't hurt my feelings any.

Saints don't want him. They may go after Romeo though but from you guys' comments he doesn't sound too promising. |
St. Louis people are too big of pussies to tolerate his wild man act

Saints planning to name Rob Ryan as defensive coordinator. Saints allowed 2nd-most points in NFL last season (454). Only Titans allowed more Adam Schefter @AdamSchefter New Orleans plans to hire former Cowboys defensive coordinator Rob Ryan as its new defensive coordinator, per league sources. Retweeted by Mary Kay Cabot My gut feeling from the start was right. He wanted out of St. Louis to go to the Saints once he heard they fired steve spagnuolo. |
Guess I'm not putting Saints down as favorites to win it all next year
Sorry Houstonwhodat :p |
The Ryan Bowl will be way more exciting than the Harbaugh Bowl.

Not sure this is going to happen. They're also looking at Todd Grantham. Wouldn't be surprised at all if this is Sean Payton trying to find out where the leaks are. Either way, Saints don't need a top notch defense with that offense. Hell if they had just a mediocre they would have made the playoffs this year. |

Saints have a lot better chance of reaching the SB than the Jets. |
he's only in the NFL cause of his daddy.
