Greg Jennings puts his home up for sale
Sounds like he knows he's gone. Idk much about his injury situation, but if he's cleared by doctors, I hope to see Dorsey bring him in to pair with Bowe.

Blackbob says Bowe sucks

He's selling his house because he's moving in with these people

Has anyone seen him at Best Buy in Olathe? The deal is done.

There's that big Dougie smile. That's my guy.

Very few people know whether Jennings is junk or legitimate like our GM does.

I think Jennings is a talented WR, but he's never really jumped out to me as a stud. He can at times struggle to beat press coverage and be made a complete non-factor. I dunno, I just don't see a reason to give this guy a huge FA contract.

I'd still prefer Wallace over Jennings if I had to choose one of them.

if we landed Wallace or Jennings AND resigned Bowe it would be a major win.

oh ok got it

unless they think Baldwin is worth saving we have a gaping hole at WR. I'd prefer Wallace (as would anyone). Paying Bowe and Wallace probably won't be possible but it seems like we have money to spend and I'd rather spend it on proven offensive skill players because I think finding defensive starters is easier in the draft.
but that's just me |

Jennings blows.
|
Jennings doesn't blow. He just isn't going to be worth the money or years he is probably going to demand. We also have too many other issues to be signing a guy to help us for one or two years.

Jennings is a byproduct of a great QB, Bowe is a natural talent doing magical things with ****ing nothing. We ask him to turn water into wine every given sunday, and he does most of the time, despite a few bumps in the road. |
I hear the Chief's plane is already closing on it.
|
I am not throwing any crowns on Jennings. Bowe being better has nothing to do with Jennings blowing or not. Matt Leinart blew. Russel blew. Jason Cambell does not blow. Doesn't mean he is going to take a team anywhere. Just what my definition of "blows" is. Jennings doesn't come close to blowing. Overrated ect. is a different argument.

He averages 930 yards and 7.5 TDs a season. I don't understand why people dont want him. Yeah last year was bad injury wise, but he's been good otherwise. Take out last year and he averages 1030 yards and 8 TDs a season.

Depends on the $ and years, plus what the team does with QB, CB, ILB, S, and the Dline. |

He does, however, have a great QB throwing the ball to him, so his numbers, despite being terrible by comparison to guys like Bowe who do way more with way less, or Fitzgerald for that matter, at the end of the day Jennings Blows. |

That's like saying Marques Colston is a top 15 receiver. ROFL |
We should have made our move last free agency and landed Vincent Jackson.

It isn't about being wrong you dumb ****. You want to go grab Jennings because he's overhyped, and let Bowe walk. When we could just pay Bowe big money because he's ****ing worth it, and shit all over guys like Jennings because they blow fat donkey sack because they have MVP's throwing to them. I bet you think guys like Brandon Stokley are ****ing awesome too and well worth 10 million a year, right?ROFL |
sign him, keep Bowe. Help Geno.

Jennings is a good WR. He would bring an element to this offense that we don't currently have and that is his ability to pile up YAC. Which fits well in a WCO he'd be a great fit. Wallace exceeds in that area as well. I'd be pleased with either.
|
Quote:
In any case, I don't think either option happens. |
Have to agree. IF Albert signs it will be as LT. He has stated he does NOT want to play guard. I think his agent knows the money is not there for guards. I'd think you could find a good guard in FA.

YAC means nothing when you're comparing an NFC North player to an AFC West player, 6 games a year you're going up against teams built entirely different. Greg Jennings would ****ing blow ass here in KC, even with an Andy Reid WCO installed here. He doesn't fit the mold of "Small and Fast" that Andy Goes after. There are two types of receivers in the WCO. Big, Physical, body position types with stellar hands (Bowe), and there are small, shifty, elusive, solid route runners (DeSean Jackson). In an Andy Reid WCO, he's never going to have more than two guys who take a snap with the build like Bowe's, and ideally, you get one. He's more likely to look at a guy like Tavon Austin in the draft. Even when Jennings was in his physical prime, he was maybe a half step faster than Bowe, and Bowe has the Size, Leaping ability, hands (loldrops), route running, and pure physical talent on Jennings all ****ing day, without an MVP QB behind him. |
