#5 if the best of them all, but taken as a group the new trilogy is far superior to the original one. Only old people with nostalgia clouding their judgment would disagree.

Great overall point, though. With 1-3 Lucas did to Vader what Brokeback Mountain did to cowboys.

1.) #4: Still the best for being the first.
2.) #5: An actually better-made film than #4 even.
3.) #6: Ewoks are annoying but nice wrapup to the trilogy.
4.) #3: Sucked balls but at least we saw Vader get put into his crab-shell.

On a serious note.... I think ALL of 1 and 2 are garbage and most of #3 is..... but I admit, I like the last 30 minutes or so of #3. Maybe it's a guilty pleasure or something.
