Yeah...I said it.

Sluts. LMAO

If he is there when we draft; sure take him. BUT, I wouldn't trade up to the 1st pick to draft him like others here would...

I just think he will pan out to be average at best amongst starting QBs in the NFL.

No one, ok.

RealSNR 10-13-2012 05:04 PM

Is there a single good player you like? I'm asking. You always put your money on the worst-smelling diarrhea pools like Tyler Wilson.

RealSNR 10-13-2012 05:05 PM

"I wouldn't trade up to get him. He'll only be average"

Yeah. Sit back and take that all-important ILB. Save your draft picks for nickel corners, undersized interior DL pass rushers, midgets, and converted position interior linemen.

**** your family.

Thanks to Genos play today we might actually get him after winning a few pointless games and ****in up our draft order.

Let's say the Chiefs pick 5th overall. The Browns have the #1 pick. Scott Pioli dies a few days before the draft and in his will he wants you to make the call on the Chiefs' first pick.

The Browns call you up and say we can have Geno Smith for the low, low price of what the Redskins paid to move up and draft RGIII.

You know you aren't able to take another top 5 QB, because Oakland at 2 and the Jets at 3 are taking their guys for sure. It's either push the button for Smith or go another ****ing season without drafting a real QB.

What would you do?

TL;DR

Molitoth 10-13-2012 06:16 PM

Tomahawk would probably trade up for a WR turned QB with 1.5 season(s) of experience playing in a league full of shit defenses.

Hammock Parties 10-13-2012 06:16 PM

I'd take any of the top three QBs in the draft, and the Chiefs must take this approach from here on out until we land a franchise QB.

this. qb is EASILY the most needed position on this team. Thus, qb should be our first pick. Thus, we should get the best qb in this coming draft. Thus, the answer is Geno Smith

Sanchez was a one-year wonder on a loaded team. Smith is senior 3-year starter who to date has thrown 81 TDs against 15 picks while averaging over 65% completions over his career. Yeah, definite similarity there.

People just love picking on QB busts so we can be comfortable not "risking" a high pick on a QB.

I wouldn't exactly consider 2 TD's to 2 INT's and a 58.5% completion rate a "great game".

He is accurate on short, intermediate and deep passes
he is very elusive and buys time for his receivers to get open
He has a very quick release
He is smart
His instincts are top notch
His vision is incredible

All of these traits translate to the NFL game.

463 yards on 65 pass attempts. And most of that was after LSU called off the dogs in the second half. He had 56 yards in the 1st, and 136 yards in the 2nd. The score was 27-7 and Geno had 192 yds 2 int 1 td. They rushed for a grand total of 4 times in the 2nd Q.

I am not impressed with these Cassel-like garbage time numbers.

EDIT: In 2010, he only had 119 yds 2 int 1 td against the same beloved LSU.

One of the greatest college defenses ever, actually.

RunKC 10-14-2012 01:44 AM

So Geno getting garbage time yards in a blowout loss to LSU last year means so much even though he hasn't proven jack against a good defense this year, but yet Barkley goes into freaking Columbus, Ohio as a Freshman and leads a game winning drive and that means nothing?

Wow.

Baylor's defense is making everybody look good bro. I think Geno is a good QB, but I'm not ready to crown him with franchise QB potential just yet.

Against the Baylor shut down defense, no less. TCU's backup just put up 261 and 4 TDs on that weak shit. Baylor is about as far from the NFL defenses as you can get.
