Look forward to seeing you in January, Pittsburgh.

19-13.

Injuries finally took their toll: no experienced #2 or #3 receivers. Hill out on final series.

No Morse, LDT, or Elinger.

West hurt.

See you here in Arrowhead in January.

Payback is a bitch.

KCUnited 10-15-2017 05:32 PM

We should be healthier in January.

Hope not. I'd like to actually have a chance. They're the new Colts. Andy Reidenheimer can't beat them.

Trent Green GOAT 10-15-2017 05:36 PM

The last three times we've played pitt, bell has rushed for 484 yds on 80 carries. Take a wild guess what they are going to do if we meet in the playoffs.

LMAO Yeah. If we're not healthy now we won't magically get healthier after 10-12 more weeks of games..

And if we couldn't beat them now, we won't beat them in January when the cold weather favors the running game.

Eleazar 10-15-2017 05:36 PM

This team isn’t going anywhere in January, playing home, road, wherever.

notorious 10-15-2017 05:37 PM

I am not. Even when they try to hand us the game we refuse, then a circus luck play falls in their lap.

I wish they would either just go out and beat us than patty-cake around.

We had a chance for some type of pay back today and Pitt dominated the game for 3.5 quarters. Bad matchup for KC because they are physical and KC is not. They can run and KC cant stop the run. Bad combination. I want no part of Pittsburgh in the playoffs. Ive seen enough.

Which is sad because the entire league sucks. Not one dominant team and the Chiefs still can’t take advantage.

QFT

We will show flashes during the regular season then get wrecked our 1st or 2nd playoff game.

ping2000 10-15-2017 06:21 PM

Better scenario is entire Shitsburgh team gets aids or chokes on perogis. **** them to hell.

FloridaMan88 10-15-2017 06:22 PM

Not me... Pittsburgh is a terrible match-up for the Chiefs and I'll root for any scenario where the Chiefs avoid the Steelers in the playoffs.

KC_Connection 10-15-2017 06:30 PM

How about Pittsburgh loses to someone else and KC wins the SB a few weeks after that? I'd take that instead of another playoff loss.

Reerun_KC 10-15-2017 06:30 PM

And another 49er wtf QB loss.

RealSNR 10-15-2017 06:36 PM

Sometimes you have to know when you're beaten.

We've played this stupid ****ing team 3 times going back to the beginning of the 2016 season. One blowout loss, and two home losses in which our defense can't stop the bread and butter of their offensive attack and our offense sucks balls against their defense for some reason.

Shittsburg is still a ****ed team. For example, I can't wait for Jacksonville to sneak into the playoffs and beat the Steelers in the wildcard round.

If we have to do it? I'm reeeeally ****ing tired of losing to Pittsburgh. Only thing more maddening would be somehow losing to the ****ing Colts in the playoffs.

So no. Let them lose to somebody else. Let us face a team we can beat. Like Houston or New England.

Dayze 10-15-2017 06:40 PM

I don’t want to see them again. And I doubt anyone on the roster does either.

Pitt is in their heads. Coaches, players, etc.

mr. tegu 10-15-2017 06:51 PM

They are who we thought they were. Overrated pass defense and Big Ben who at this point can only hit wide open receivers. That's why this loss is so irritating.

Why Not? 10-15-2017 06:52 PM

I with you guys. I'd face the '85 Bears in their prime over the ****ing Steelers.

That averages out to almost 2600 yards rushing over a whole season.

Bewbies 10-15-2017 06:58 PM

The thing I like about Pit is they’ve got a good team with a QB who is about to leave. When that happens they get to live in 7-9 to 9-7 NFL hell.

It’s all I got. LMAO

I don't think there's a big chain of derivatives to work through here. Pittsburgh is just better than we are.

They consistently beat us, usually in embarrassing fashion.

They beat us home and road, regular season and postseason.

They soundly beat us at the LOS in every matchup.

We're out quarterbacked in every matchup

We're out coached in every matchup.

Even now, Tomlin and a diminished Ben are still better than Andy and Alex.

That's really all there is to it. Hat's off to them.

Mostly because we cant stop the run. Manage to do that, and KC would break through for a win.

No. No. No. No. JUST ****ING NO. I never want to see this team again. I'm sick of this shit. If they are the opponent in the playoffs then don't even bother watching the game. The chiefs will roll over play dead for 3 qtrs then wake up just long enough to break your hearts again. **** THAT SHIT

Iconic 10-15-2017 08:59 PM

Hope we see them in the playoffs.

I think a healthier Chiefs team ****s them up the ass.

By all means we were a lot closer to winning that game and we had no business winning it at all. Imagine another shot where we don't get one first down in the first half.

BryanBusby 10-15-2017 09:19 PM

Ya because we fared well in Pitt a year ago

PAChiefsGuy 10-15-2017 09:21 PM

Yes, you will see them in January. Running up and down the field on our asses while our offense pisses down their legs.

I don't think we are scared of them. I never got that feeling watching the gm. Our players were getting right in the Steelers players faces anytime they felt disrespected... Steelers are hard hitters but so are the Redskins... Chiefs are not a team that will be intimidated...

We played bad. I thought that we tackled poorly and our dline continues to struggle to get past the Steelers oline. Offense was sloppy and could not get anything going... Smitty was off this game which happens to all QBs from time to time.

Despite all of that if it wasn't for a fluke missed INT by Gaines we probably win that game... So relax... This team will bounce back..

All SB winning teams lose games during the regular season...

Bad tweet by Chris Jones especially considering how poorly the dline played. Don't know wtf he was talking about in that tweet. Chiefs might have been a little too confident...

So what are you suggesting that we fire Reid because of this loss? You are the f**king moron.. Those past seasons do not matter. We are 0-1 against them this season with this team... It's was one game when pretty much everything that could go wrong did and we still barely lost... We'll be alright.

Sorry if we are not going 16-0 this season. So sad!

gold_and_red 10-15-2017 11:12 PM

Early in the game Steeler D was closing in really quick to make surefire tackles. They anticipated that Reid would do his usual feel them out with short passes and quick hitters. But later in the game it was amazing how open our WRs were even when they knew that we abandoned the run though Smith missed a few routine throws. Did the OL suddenly start blocking well or did the coverage become soft?

I think next time we play them we should go max protect early even if it means having Kelce and Hunt in to block and take a few intermediate to deep shots to our lesser known WRs. Brady owns the Steelers because somehow his protection is awesome when they play and he is deadly accurate on medium range throws.
