Thought we'd try this thread idea on for size.

What are your favorite tunes from solo artists outside their band? There are plenty to choose from, but let's see what CP likes.

Robert Plant's Big Log was the first one that came to mind. Yeah, I know, the title sounds bad, the words "big log" are not in the lyrics, and I have no idea why it's called Big Log, but the song is an absolute mellow masterpiece. If I'm stuck in heavy traffic and am about to have a psychotic break, I put this song on. It's like musical xanax.

Ironically, I largely detest Led Zeppelin. But goddamn I love this song.
