Harrison Ford in town today
To promote the new movie '42'.
http://www.kansascity.com/2013/04/09...end-of-42.html The red carpet will be out and camera's flashing for this gala event today at the Barrywood's theater at 5:30 this afternoon. (The first premiere was in L.A. already) The movie of course is about Jackie Robinson paving the way for other negro league players to come into baseball. I know this grand spectacular is lowly compared to Danes standards, but this is just Kansas City for crying out loud. http://i.imgur.com/kcDVF33.jpg |
he shot first!

Did anyone else see him on Letterman last night? I know he's always been a poor interview but it seems like he's suffering early onset dementia or Alzheimer's. Just slow, not quick witted and seemingly very, very old.
I'm not sure how he can pull off Han Solo in the next Star Wars film. |
Holy shit. He looks like he's trying to cover up shakes.

Anyone catch that news reporter trying to get "an exclusive interview wit Harr-ee-son FOOOORRRRD!" as he was leaving Capital Grille on the Plaza last night?

This looks weird. I don't see how he can pull off any more acting if this is how he delivers a joke.

Maybe he was just shit hammered?

How does that work Dane.
They sign an actor to do a movie and the contract has a list of talk shows they are required to do and attend all premieres? |
Quote:
Normally, lead actors attend premieres in NYC, LA and London for film publicity. Depending on the subject matter, Leno and Letterman are generally "required" but a show like Ellen can be important as well. The KC connection is obvious in this case with Jackie initially playing for the Monarchs and the Negro Leagues Museum. |
Hopefully he swings by Buzzard Beach.

Harrison Ford just blew by Vernier on 610 at the 42 premiere
|
Yeah Ford has always been awkward in interviews...hopefully nothing is going downhill for him
|
Just saw him present an award to Richard Edlund in February. He gave a very long and very slow speech, yet very funny in his awkward cowboy pace, no written notes, no prompter. I was about two tables away from him and at first had the same thought, but I had never really seen him in interviews for some reason. I am a huge star wars geek, so that's pretty shameful. I asked around and was told to watch some interviews and that's just his way, not a problem.
