What about him they didn't have much cap space. He could have went to Oakland and got paid,
Oh well. Not like we needed a WR anyways |

Joins Hugh Douglas in the Chiefs-near-miss-free-agent HOF.

Redskins also signed Ryan Clark. Salary Cap is bullshit
|
The real effect on us with this move is that Phili may now go WR at pick #22
|
OG is starting to seem more possible. Its not an exciting pick for fans but it may be the smartest pick depending on what WR is still left when it gets to us.

Jeff McLane @Jeff_McLane
Redskins didn't have much cap space ($6.3 mil) but did have cash, as @AlbertBreer noted. With bonus may have gotten close to $9-10 mil/year. |

Let's all wring our hands. Redskins win free agency again, and that means they'll be back in the super bowl like they are every season.

We all have had discussions about how signing a QB like Eli and Flacco is a tough decision because it ruins the ability to build around that QB. Does that argument suddenly change because it's convenient? Or would we agree that you can't just magically make a contract disappear. |

The Chiefs are putting their eggs into the basket of a RB and a pass rusher who have never won a playoff game. Umm… yeah. No. Do we overrate our core much? |
Wait a minute. Red is the Bloods' colors. I thought he was a Crip. He should have signed with Detroit or Tennessee.
|
We got Donnie Avery, AJ Jenkins ,Wesson dressler, and slowstep Bowe lol. We got this

The Patriots won 3 SBs with a cast of players that weren't anywhere close to the best at their positions. The Steelers won 2. Winning championships is about finding the right pieces to fit around your core. This core group is good enough to win with. |
That contract is criminally insignificant.
As pointed out, the Chiefs could have easily found cap space to make that work. For a 27-year-old stud playmaker, still in his prime, with ties to KC's head coach? I mean, if you're not willing to make things happen to create cap space for THAT difference maker, you're not willing to do it for any. |
We couldn't afford that? Bullshit.
