Yeah can't watch.

threebag 10-17-2017 06:59 PM

Lucky he isn't a horse

Pitt Gorilla 10-17-2017 06:59 PM

Yeah, my whole family freaked out when it happened. Harlan immediately said he broke it. It was horrifying.

RINGLEADER 10-17-2017 07:01 PM

At least the producer was smart enough to realize what he was looking at and go back to the wide shot.

I'm sure there are other angles and I don't want to see them.

The breaking sound is something out of a horror movie.

big nasty kcnut 10-17-2017 07:03 PM

Oh ****! That as bad as thieseman injury

RobBlake 10-17-2017 07:05 PM

Alsnot as bad as Paul George injury

immediately what I thought about.

MMXcalibur 10-17-2017 07:09 PM

I reacted the same way as everyone in the vicinity of Hayward did when it happened.
Good god....

Frazod 10-17-2017 07:09 PM

Yeesh. Reminds me of the Robin Ventura injury.

Hammock Parties 10-17-2017 07:09 PM

The Hayward injury is so grotesque twitter has labeled the screencap "sensitive"

https://pbs.twimg.com/media/DMYeXpiU8AANXB8.jpg

FlaChief58 10-17-2017 07:13 PM

I don't think rubbing some dirt on it will work in this case

Randallflagg 10-17-2017 07:16 PM

Oh....good Lord.........

Pablo 10-17-2017 07:25 PM

And that's why white men shouldn't jump.

Dayze 10-17-2017 07:30 PM

I’m no doctor, but that looks like a pretty bad sprain.

Liberally apply tussin to the affected area.

Buehler445 10-17-2017 07:36 PM

Yeah. That will leave a mark.

Son of a bitch. That hurts me looking at it.

Skyy God 10-17-2017 07:43 PM

I rate it 3 Paul George's out of 4.

mikeyis4dcats. 10-17-2017 08:01 PM

My brother had pretty much the same injury, 24 sheets of sheetrock fell on him. bone was sticking through the sock.

KCUnited 10-17-2017 08:04 PM

Doesn’t look so bad.

displacedinMN 10-17-2017 08:04 PM

Not that I know anything about BBall. That was f*ing gruesome. I just hope that was his shoe turned sideways and not his foot.

They said they were able to set it back in the arena so hopefully he can come back later in the season

'Hamas' Jenkins 10-17-2017 08:26 PM

Reminds me of Sid Vicious from the top rope at WCW Sin.

That must have been the sound LT heard and has talked about over the years when he was interviewed about that play. That was terrible. Wish that guy the best.

Rain Man 10-17-2017 08:31 PM

Great job of his teammate to get back in there for the offensive rebound, though.

RobBlake 10-17-2017 08:39 PM

Honestly he might come back toward the end of the season or even playoffs. I think based on fractured ankle rehab

Sure, if he didn't rupture an artery or sever nerves.

I feel horrible for the guy. But I feel worse that I almost peed myself when I read the horse post. Seriuosly I hope he recovers and can come back soon.

Stevens said dislocated ankle and fractured tibia.

Can’t foresee him coming back this season

Definitely not beating Cleveland now. Tough break, kid.

Reminds me when Shaun Livingston's leg completely detached during a lay-up.

GloryDayz 10-17-2017 10:04 PM

I'm stunned he didn't puke. Wow.. Ouch!

I hope he can work through it and come back..

BlackHelicopters 10-18-2017 04:35 AM

Worst I have seen since that Louisville March Madness player.

AMDChief 10-18-2017 05:43 AM

Rub some dirt on it.....here's a salt tablet.

Or faint or lose consciousness because of the pain

Hog's Gone Fishin 10-18-2017 06:32 AM

Happens to me all the time.

Gravedigger 10-18-2017 08:02 AM

People who are saying this injury is gruesome have never seen a broken bone before. With the way his leg got bent behind him it could've been much worse, snapped femur etc.

lcarus 10-18-2017 10:51 AM

Who was the Louisville guy that had the compound fracture? Ware maybe. That was worse in my opinion. This was horror show bad though.

Easy 6 10-18-2017 10:52 AM

Stumbled across this pic in the Nope thread... wish I hadnt

Dayze 10-18-2017 10:52 AM

he should just get into an oxygen chamber, and inject some cheetah blood directly to the injured area. He should be back for when the playoffs start in January.

Swanman 10-18-2017 12:02 PM

Where is the love for Dave Dravecky's arm blowing up when throwing a pitch?

Fish 10-18-2017 12:09 PM

Rub some lavender oil on it. Drink some coconut milk. Put a raw onion on the bottom of his foot. He'll be back out there in a week...

Rain Man 10-18-2017 12:23 PM

Reminds me of that Denver Bronco guy, except of course the basketball player's injury probably wasn't due to karma.

I wouldn't rule it out. He left Utah high and dry in the off-season.

When I played men’s city league basketball, I was always worried something like this would happen to me. I never really took into consideration that there would have to be all manner of crazy shit happen for me to break my leg with only an 8 inch vertical.
