Sure, if you wanted to fight hard enough you could bang a drum that says the scheudle was littered with tough opponents this year and the injuries piled up, but screw all that. Even when healthy, this team shows few signs of life or a desire to compete - especially in the first 8 games.

Vance should go and I believe he's a lifer DC type coach, which there isn't anything wrong with that... not everyone is built to be a head coach.

Vance is 11-19 in 30 NFL games and is the guy in charge for what soon could be the first time in decades that they finish with losing records.

Probably the best they can do... Denver is not going to be an attractive HC job.

They have no QB and their ownership situation is unsettled.

I'd like to start a petition that Vance Joseph coach the Chargers for the rest of the year. I like his style with late game clock decisions.

That's not true... good young coaches looking for their start will truly take any job and despite Denver's poor stretch since 2016, they're far from being a spot that nobody wants to coach. That's just silly.

No QB, limited talent on offense, an aging defense, an unsettled ownership situation, and a Vice President of Football Operations who will be hiring his 4th HC within a span of 5 years.

Good luck trying to sell that situation to decent HC prospects who have other options to choose from.
