Jon Stewart stepping aside
Jon Stewart leaving daily show.
http://www.ew.com/article/2015/02/10...ing-daily-show Could he be getting into real news? |
That stinks. Bring back Oliver!
|
NBC should contact him.

Damn - that's a long run. And that's a pretty major blow to Comedy Central after Colbert walked earlier.
|
Comedy Central should replace him with Paul Walker

It was pretty damn funny. |
IN B4 DC!

This is devastating, but it was time.
I really, really hope the new wave after Stewart/Colbert is as up to the task as they were. |
Bummer.

Too bad but not all that surprising. Seems that after all these years some of the show has been losing a little steam in the past year or two.
|
Love the way he skewers the media. He's been doing that show for a long time, he's been hinting for some time that doing the show was burning him out.

That seems like a pretty obscure and kind of outdated reference just to pick a dead guy when any dead guy could have been chosen. I need to hear it from SNR, because that's not funny. |
I can't imagine doing a show like that for five years, let alone, fifteen. He's a very talented guy that has many more options, so I wish him well.
I think I've seen maybe five episodes during that run but he was good. |

Craig Ferguson would be the best replacement, IMO.
I'm sure they'd have no problem moving the show to LA. |

Need someone who is snarky but also at the same time not come off as an asshole.

If I'm a big name comedian, I'd be considering this gig. |
