Ned Yost Hate Thread

This guy is a dickless pussy, and yes I know that is sort of an oxy moron. And yes Ned Yost deserves his own hate thread. This guy is clueless as f*** and George Bush is more suited to be a manager then him. F*** Ned Yost. Right in his ass.

TribalElder 05-26-2013 03:36 PM

lol. Stay positive

petegz28 05-26-2013 03:37 PM

Man, I was just thinking it's time to start the official "Fire Yost" thread.

I've had it with him. Today, we are down by 3, bottom of the 8th, 2 outs, runners on the corners and you have the guy who has hit the last 2 HR's on this team (Tejada) available to pinch hit.

Instead of sending Tejada to the plate, Ned "You can call me Frank" Yost sends some guy to the plate that has not seen 1 pitch in the major league's this year.

Just ****ing WOW!

It has been brought up in other threads but in baseball, the coach is the most meaningless of all coaches in major sports. He makes some ****ing dumb decisions, sure, but the players are ****ing horrendously bad and have no fire. Blame goes all-around...these team is full of turds.

I hear ya. I just wish he would show more fire and stop this love affair with Getz/Frenchy. Also play Tejeda more

I agree but not entirely. Yost has done nothing but hurt this team when we are hurting ourselves enough without his help.

They sure as hell haven't lost confidence in Frenchy, although I can't for the **** figure out what he's done to give them any ****ing reason to believe he's gonna produce.

He could go 1 for 100, and they would totally ignore the 99 outs and focus like a laser on his one hit and say that proves he's still got it in him, it's just a matter of time until he turns it around.

petegz28 05-26-2013 04:13 PM

Since our last home win against the Chi Sox we have had...

3 game losing streak
1 win
3 game losing streak
1 win
1 loss
1 win
4 game losing streak
1 win
5 game losing streak

petegz28 05-26-2013 04:15 PM

4-16 in our last 20 (since pulling Shields in the 9th)
4-13 since moving Gordon out of the leadoff spot

The fans need to demand better and KC deserves a better franchise. There seems to be little pressure on this organization to change.

Francoeur's constant presence in the lineup is absolutely infuriating. The guy is 29 years old and his wins above replacement values have been negative for more than a year. I can understand having Moustakas and Hosmer in the lineup because those guys are just kids, but Frenchy needs to be somewhere other than the regular lineup.

A few days ago I was seriously considering flying to KC for the games this weekend. Glad I didn't.

I'm too much of a diehard to quit on this team. While watching them live in Oakland earlier this month, I realized how many of their best players were born after the Royals' last appearance in the playoffs. Frenchy's not one of them. He's too old for the Royals to have him in the everyday lineup dragging down the team's chances.

Titty Meat 05-26-2013 05:11 PM

Not the only problem but definitely getting a bigger problem by the day. When the players are on this losing streak but giving hand signs and laughing after a ****ing no RBI single when down 4 runs, tell me how much Yost is doing coaching these guys? I would have told them to cut that shit out once they lost 3 in a row.

He isn't leading/coaching and the players are shitty.

The Royals organization would reply that they have spent a lot of money on pitching.

Yes, they did....and I said at in the offseason and at the beginning the problems were not just pitching.....they should have acquired more veteran bats with pop and replaced FAILcour and Getz. Going into the year relying purely on Hosmer and Moose to develop was asinine.

Missing the point are you that many of these were "coveted prospects" that in other organizations seem to blossom but in ours seem to burn out. That starts with leadership and coaching.

And a young player needs to be shown the difference in work ethic between the minors and majors. If not, why have coaches? You act like players know everything and that the step from minor to majors is nothing. What works for you in the minors, might need to be adjusted at the majors. That isn't for the player to figure out.

Simply Red 05-26-2013 05:56 PM

BWillie 05-26-2013 06:17 PM

Ned Yost is just Daytons pawn. No more no less. Hard to blame Ned. Sure, many ppl on this board could even do a better job than him (as you can see I dont value MLB managers). But, the Royals would still suck with or without Ned. Hosmer and Moose dont suck because of Ned. They just might not be very good. A good manager comoared to a bad manager in MLB is woth like 4 wins max.
