My dog acts like that every day when my GF gets off of work.
He's happy to see me, but nothing like he is for her.

Are you insinuating that his girlfriend puts peanut butter on the dog's balls and licks it off?

You, sir, are hilarious.

I think he is insinuating that she puts it in her gash and lets the dog lick it off.

Cats are for people that don't need to feel like a god. Dogs are for people that want to feel like a god whenever they get home from their shitty job.

My cat doesn't jump up and down run around like a crazied lunatic throwing slobber everywhere when I get home. But he does follow me for a couple minutes to get his head and ears scratched. Meows a bit, then goes and suns himself or murders a rat or two.

From the video description:

Published on Jul 24, 2014

A pet dog's reaction to a family member returning home after 2 years... which in fairness is 14 years in dog years.

The family member was living and working in Slovenia, and didn't return home to Murrysville, PA last year, because her whole family (except Casey) came to Bled for her wedding.

Sidenote:
The schnauzer, Casey, was taken to the vet, the vet saw the video, and everything is fine with her. No worries.

I really want a boxer. With their size, are they good with the kids?

Eleazar 07-26-2014 05:26 AM

That's really cool. I'm amazed that the dog remembered her after such a long time. My parents have a dog that I only see every 3-4 months, and she always barks and such when I come in - clearly doesn't recognize me.

Boxers are awesome. Their only drawback is that they are prone to a lot of health problems and they only live 7-8 years on average.

Your parent's dog is either deaf/blind, a stupid asshole, or doesn't like you. With the barking, I'm leaning towards asshole.

I have had two dogs and they were worthless, they would bark and shit and run out in the street, one day the dog was dead in the yard and a guy put "sorry about your dog it ran out in the street and I smashed the sumbitch, here is the estimate on my bumper" Dogs suck balls.

There are no worthless dogs only worthless owners. I know your post was an attempt at humor, but it was a failed attempt.

Sound like the rantings of a tard that is too dumb, and/or irresponsible to raise a dog.

Please do not have kids.

Sorry to hear that. I was lucky one time w/ my old dog, who was a standard schnauzer. He ran out because someone left our back gate unlatched and I guess the wind blew it wide open since it wasn't closed all the way and he got out one afternoon. All afternoon we went looking for him and couldn't find him for about 2 days. Then on that 2nd morning he showed up at the back door since we decided to leave the gate open in case he were to come back. He was wagging his tail panting dirtier than shit and smelled like ass. Bet he had himself a nice little adventure for a while. We always walked him around surrounding neighborhoods almost daily (as well as our own) within a couple/few mile radius so his "mark" was everywhere, every mailbox tree fire hydrant, etc. So I think by his smell as well as the general familiarity with the neighborhoods he was able to find his way back home. He was a very smart and intelligent dog. Very stubborn in his own right. Very alert dog, highly energetic and playful. Loved playing outside. Loved swimming in our pool. Could jump off the diving board on command.

Understood a huge vocabulary and had a good connection within the family. Great companion. Liked to wrestle and it used to sound like he wanted to tear you apart but at a flip of a switch could calm down and could cuddle with ya on the couch. Just a great companion. I miss him. He lived to be 15, had to put him down in 2006.

Agreed. I actually prefer that I have to earn the affection of my cats. Mine rub all over me and want love and attention when I get home from work or even wake up in the morning. People that say cats don't care have clearly never been around cats much.
