Haven't listened to much sports radio since Danny Parkins left town.

Edit: I didn't even care for Parkins that much. I think it was more or less because the Royals were good.

Danny Parkins was my favorite by far. Then I liked the producer of the show, forgot his name, who left recently too to get into fantasy sports radio.

Now I'm left with Fanning and Carrington. Carrington is a great #2 guy, but I don't think he deserves his own show, and Fanning is literally doesn't have his own opinion about anything other than his old man baseball league. He is there as filler to try to create diverse opinions on the show, even if the point he makes is hilariously and obviously wrong, he still makes it and tries to defend it, and then next show he has completely changed his opinion.

I do like Bink from the afternoon. I can't stand Fescoe

610 is terrible. Fanning is an idiot, Fescoe is the worst on radio the day shift is god awful.

This should get him fired if true. If only for following the KKK accounts. I'm sure someone can look through the post history and find something bad he tweeted too.

This brings up an interesting situation. Making fake twitter accounts to pretend to be fake burner accounts for famous celebrities. Then 'discovering' it months later. Mark my words, this will be a thing.

Winter Park is a pretty nice area, though. I liked living there, except for all of the traffic and having to get on I-4 everyday.

I just hope this gets him fired. Anyone else would be better. Put billay on the show and I guarantee it improves.

This is hilarious. Didn't Fescoe get humiliated years ago for some question in a press conference? I figured that's why he disappeared for a number of years. Before disgracing the airwaves again. He's an extremely uninformed jackass.

Fescoe has two problems here:

1) If true, it confirms everyone's already low opinion of him personally and professionally; and

2) Even if not true, it's 100% believable. And that's the real problem here.

It would be a shame to fire him for this, if true. He should be fired for his work product. He has no positive or redeeming attributes as a broadcaster for any size market.

610 isn't great but at least they talk about the Chiefs and Royals. When I used to try 810, it was always K-State/KU, Stump the Chumps, Racin' Boys, Smoke and Fire, or Lynn Dickey

Petro and Brisco are very talented sports talkshow broadcasters that could work in any market. The Border Patrol has its moments. It features an unusually talented producer (Jake).

All of my cars since 2012 have had Sirius XM radios. I never have to listen to the local sports hacks. It's awesome.

Thats why I was glad that Facebook went with a this is a real person model. Of course, there are ways around that But, the model is that we trust this person is who they say they are. You decide to friend them. See their posts because you know them or have many shared friends.


Twitter is used to spread propaganda, fake news, non-celebrities to hide and post for nefarious reasons. The main benefit that Twitter provides is instantaneous access to information about something happening in real time.

Hell, I made a fake Twitter account myself. I used to make up fake news back when we thought we had a chance at getting Peyton Manning to come here.

I've had Sirius since 2006 and purchased the lifetime plan back in 2008. I haven't listened to AM/FM radio in years and don't miss it at all. AM sports radio is really terrible, especially if you live in an a different city when all they talk about is the local sports teams.

Shit here is boring because there's 2 teams and when one of them sucks they basically spend months talking about nothing, or just rehashing that same shit over and over.

And for some reason if they even talk about NBA or a sport that isn't here people lose their shit.

I listen to Sirius about 90% of the time, and Spotify the rest. Not sure why anyone would still listen to terrestrial radio.

Basically sports radio local shit is for old people, that mindset is also why 810 does well, almost all of their takes/hosts is geared toward people 50+

Fescoe is absolute trash. I try to avoid listening to him at all costs.

My work truck only has AM/FM radio and they would do the same stuff here. They mostly talked about the Gators and the Jags, although the NFL is a distant second here. One of the stations had the national feed for ESPN/Fox Sports so I would listen to it occasionally. I would guess that local sports radio probably sucks everywhere.

I love my Sirius/XM for the sports talk/comedy statons. And live sports broadcasts. It's ACE for that.

Stuff like Golic & Wingo isn't even that great but it's MILES ahead of "The Legend Bob Fescoe".

I wish Petro was on in the late afternoon / evening slot.

Despite having such a low bar to set in the morning, Fescoe consistently comes way under that bar each day. Border Patrol isn't much better, IMO. I used to really enjoy it, but it just has the 'mailing it in' feel to it now.

I like the Border Patrol. I think it's perfect for the mornings, they keep it light hearted. I'm generally grumpy af in the AM, and they manage to make me laugh from time to time. I understand why some people wouldn't care for it though.
