Funny your coach keeps whining about it. Maybe he should relax with a couple of jumbo wines instead.

This is true. It's crazy to me that Pinkel and the rest of the MU community seems to spend 90% of their time talking about KU.

KU got driven into the ground by a terrible head coach and appears to be on their way back but they still played the 11th toughest schedule in America last year and this year have the 10th toughest (Phil Steele).

MU on the other hand are trending downward (according to recruiting) and admittedly play in a stronger "top heavy" football conference. I'm not sure why they keep worrying about KU. KU has basically no impact on how their football season plays out.

We have to win more conference games this year.

it was embarrassing last year. imagine how pathetic it would have been if they didn't win any conference games. vanderbilt should have been a win.

Could a casual fan of a non Big 12 team even name a single player in the conference? I would honestly guess that most couldn't. That is how irrelevant the conference has become.

This is sad, but almost comical seeing Bambi and Bitch go full reerun here. Keep on telling everyone how you dont care about Mizzou as you keep talking about them and justifying how you don't "care". Your point is obviously getting across...

They could commemorate their win against the FBS school last year. "We Jacked the Rabbits" has a nice ring to it.

Failing that, they could print up shirts talking about how they kicked the Jayhawks' asses in the spring game.

We should probably pin this to the top of the thread since you can't seem to read very well. We do care, we love laughing at their neverending failures. They invent new ways to embarrass themselves and there's no way I'm going to turn my head away at the trainwreck. Get it straight.

Bielema didn't leave Wisconsin over tradition and facilities. He left because he wanted to compete against the best. I appreciate what Pinkel has done for the program, but it's likely best for us if he steps aside and allows us to hire a coach who can take the next step.

I mentioned Petrino. Herm Edwards would be an interesting choice as well.

Many sources citing the B1G is courting KU.

I think it's just a fence like you'd find at some junkyard dog's property out in Grain Valley or Grandview. They "caged" the Kentucky football team (who went 0-8) in Columbia and made tee shirts of it.

No word on whether they gave them a Standing O for beating evil KU six months earlier in the NC game

Bambi 08-07-2013 10:58 PM

I heard that the top 7 teams in the SEC were like 30-0 against the bottom 7 teams in the SEC.

That can't be real right?

And there are MU fans on this board even still talking about KU's struggles?

You can't be serious.

I think it was the top 6 vs bottom 8 but I could be wrong. It doesn't really matter because the bottom feeders get big welfare checks to serve as punching bags. Plus they all get to wear Alabama shirts during bowl games and celebrate vicariously.

it really makes no sense to add either school. The BIG isn't going to bring in the new football king and the new basketball king. No way do they allow these Pimps to start running their street corner. They're way too proud and traditional to do such a thing to their members.

You do make a good point. All of the conferences that have added schools have done so with schools that really show no threat of winning the conference in either football or basketball..

I suppose Syracuse could win the ACC in basketball but other than that I can't think of a one.

I think you're referring to the guy that Weis took in after Florida kicked him out for being a thug. The guy was a known gang banger and had been busted for drugs before coming to Kansas.

His original top three college choices were Florida, Notre Dame, and Ohio State. He chose Florida but was booted before ever playing a down. Kansas knew this, but you took him anyway. I'm pretty sure you have zero moral high ground on this issue.

Prison Bitch is probably searching for pictures of him partying on Mass St. He seems to be very proud of how much thugs love it there.

Exactly. That's why it's so impressive we've tied the all-time series with Mizzou. And had more top-10s the past 40 years than they have. They do have the edge in bowl wins since 2000 at 4-3 so there's that. But it's amazingly even given how big a "football school" Mizzou is.

Sure but you skewed it by only showing wins vs actual appearances. If every school played in a bowl game every year the 4-3 would be more relevant.

They're not meant to be taken seriously by a delusional fan base. It's that sense of total detachment from reality that makes MU fans so endearing. It's what makes you, well: you.

When you're never playing in a meaningful game then head to head is all that matters.

Head to head mizWho = KU in football. Love it or hate it, those are the sad facts.

Now run along and cheer for your conference some more. It's ALL you've got. At least we've got elite basketball on a level you'll never experience in your life.

MUrons are faider fan stupid, without the accomplishments.

Yawn,..yea a delusional fan base...Your posts and obvious lack of ability of true discussion bore me. Its obvious you love being a troll and wish to contribute nothing more than that.

Charlie was referring to the players, but his "pile of crap" description would have been equally appropriate for some of the fans as well.

I just find it hilarious how some people don't think that their own "pile of crap" doesn't stink. Instead of them realistically looking at their own team they would rather troll others.

Huh? People laughed at Weis' comments, I don't remember seeing anyone here (or on the radio or wherever) saying he was wrong. The last couple years at KU have been lean since Mangino was fired, was somebody denying that somewhere?

You might be saying you are getting trolled about Mizzou football. Far from it. You're getting "truth'd". The 100+ years of football history at Kansas and Mizzou has been eerily similar so that's what we're pointing out. Among the Big 12 before you bolted, you were 7th in all time overall win % and KU was 8th. The only thing Mizzou did better than Kansas over time was play Colorado tougher. Everything else (including that sorta important thing called head to head) was dead even.

Kansas (3)
Mike McCormack , John Riggins , Gale Sayers

Missouri (2)
Roger Wehrli , Kellen Winslow
