Depends on who you ask. Ask a KU fan that knows anything about football and the state of where we've been for the last few years, and yes, it's a significant upgrade. Ask the ever-present bucket of troll pus, he'll get high on his pulpit and state that he's vastly over-rated, never would have made the practice squad at Mizzou or any other SEC school, and Kansas will continue to wain in the shadow of suckitude that all lowly Big 12 teams cast on Lawrence.

My apologies to Jack Harry for my poorly paraphrased expression, there.

Yes. Perhaps some receivers that can catch the ball, other than our two running backs masquerading as WR's, Patterson and Beshears

Why we love Bob -

@bobfescoe: With the addition of Crist #kufball has the best Qb in the big 12 assuming of course landry Jones goes pro”

BWillie 12-22-2011 11:39 AM

I don't know if KU has ever had a 5-star QB. This just happened to me

He's as bad as KK, but instead of pure hatred, he brings pure homerism.

A 5* QB who has already proven to be average at best at a program with 10 times the talent Kansas has.

Average is better than what we've been using.

Basically only got like 7 games to prove himself, and he wasn't that bad. On the flip side, it can be difficult when you have a bunch of other big time recruits at QB. You know he's got the talent, he might be on of those guys that by coming to Kansas releases all the tension and he'll be set up to succeed.

Honestly, he is a college version of Matt Cassel. So, yes, it is an upgrade.

In fairness, Bowl season is actually pretty awesome.

If you didn't have the Poinsetta Bowl, you'd be watching poker or golf on ESPN.

Bowl season isn't as good as it could be, but it's still pretty damn cool.

Agreed.

Didn't he also have 2 knee injuries that helped derail his career? I think with Weis coaching him, this guy could turn out to be very, very good for KU.

Never had much of a chance to flourish in the type of system he wanted to play in from the start.

that's the good thing about Weis, he puts KU on the map and we can get 5 star QB's committed to us. Of course, mUrons will be coming in here telling us how they know everything about this kid and how he's gonna suck.

I'm pretty excited. Let's get some more top recruits!

And from what I have read, he and Kelly never really meshed. Being back with Weis may turn out to be good for him.

Is there a bigger homer douche bag than Boob Fescoe? That tweet is just littered with Fail.
