Refs on Denver/Vegas Payroll?

http://forums.theganggreen.com/showthread.php?t=60368

<HR style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #ffffff; COLOR: #ffffff" SIZE=1><!-- / icon and title --><!-- message -->I've never seen a game worse than today's. Bad calls, yes, but across the board, this was pathetic to the point where for the first time in my life, and I'm an old bastard, I would actually think the refs were in on a fix.

The PI calls were ridiculous. The call on Leonard was laughable, if it weren't so important. Thomas did not have control with two feet down on that TD, and Gaffney let the ball hit the ground on Denver's last drive.

I've NEVER been so disgusted with refs before. It wasn't just a few calls, across the board they were anti-Jets. BLATANTLY pro-Denver.

I hope the entire crew gets fired. I hope the Jets send all of the film to the NFL. This crew was either completely incompetent, or bought. Either way, fire all of them.

I don't know what that Jets fan is talking about. Does he not remember 4th and 6 from the 50 yard line, 1 timeout remaining, a little over a minute left in the game, and then the refs give them the ball at the 2 yard line because of PI?

That was a fairly obvious PI.

This is my favorite
post #70:

I hate to fan the conspiracy flames, but I honestly think this might have been the case of a single ref doing something very shady. If someone who has the game DVR'd and has tons of time wants they could go back and see if it was a single ref.

There is on guy I would want to look at closely. It was very subtle, but I think PROVES that something fishy was going on.

There was a key 3rd down, the ball was spotted, then the other ref held the ball during the measure. I swear it looks like he is SCOOTING THE F-ING BALL FORWARD as they bring the chains out. The Broncos got the first down by what looks like milimeters. someone with a DVR please take a look, but it looked to me like he was pulling it forward

I despised the way they called the game with a fiery passion, but they were consistent and unbiased. In the end, the game's result was probably close to what it should have been, but there were four PI calls and one personal foul that were all pretty bad, and the calls went against both teams.

Yeah on both players. Renaldo Hill was pushed and then accidentally touched the facemask.

It was, but it wasn't flagrant - appeared more incidental. Sucks, but that's the way the rules roll sometimes.

DJ Williams arrested for DUI last night. per Twitter.

PostBroncos Lindsay Jones
DJ Williams also had a DUI in 2005, his second year in Denver. That is bad news in the eyes of the league.

They were 15-5 after the bye prior to McDaniels.

Denver is 0-1 after the bye under McDaniels.
Denver has lost 14 of their last 18 under McDaniels.
Denver has lost 4 of 7 AFCW games under McDaniels.
Denver has lost 7 of 13 Home games under McDaniels.
Denver was 12-12 in their last 24 games before McDaniels.
Denver is 10-14 in their first 24 games under McDaniels.

There just are not a lot of great stats to throw out there under McDaniels.

It's time for McDaniels to become the next former Head Coach of the Denver Broncos.
