The 1.1.1 weapons update is no joke. I was one-shotting void-shielded psions in the nightfall with Swordbreaker shotgun, point blank. Glad they made them useful. Oversoul Edict pulse rifle has a bit more ooomph now too.

I've played a bit of crucible today and found that the shotgun range drop off is noticeable but still not much of a problem. I usually saved it for hug range anyway.
I'm seeing more pulse riffles but it seems like they are still loosing to hand cannons and scout riffles a lot of the time. Red Death is a monster though. |

Played some control this morning and it was a worse experience than anything during Iron Banner. Finally saw the lag people talk about. Was getting shot around corners. Unloading entire clips into people's foreheads at point blank range and doing no damage.

Did they nerf sniper range?
I know they nerfed AP (and I just wasted a bunch of VM on an LDR last week...thanks Obama!), but my Icebreaker didn't seem to be reaching things last night it normally does or doing as much damage at longer ranges. Maybe I'm just imagining it? |
