A HUGE thanks goes out to Zach for making this all happen. My wife has been out of work from back problems, and money has been really tight. We bought playoff tickets as our only Christmas gift to each other while she recovers, but we couldn't afford to buy tickets for the cup as well.

I messaged Zach here earlier this week, as I was hoping to tailgate and then see if I could watch the game in the Members Club.. Zach couldn't make that happen, but he somehow had the hookup for free (and great) seats!

Now I just need to overload on tea, blood pressure meds, and hand warmers..

We need a 2014 thread, so we can discuss how different the 2014 SKC team is going to look. So many questions! Does Jimmy retire? On Lazlo's afternoon drive show, Jimmy was asked whether he was going to retire after this season. His hesitant non-response came after about ten seconds of waffling, and it got the sense that he wasn't deciding his answer in that time, but whether he wanted to break the news on that program (on which he is a frequent guest and friend) or wait until tonight's celebration.

I was thinking earlier about what we'd do if he retired.. Is Kronberg talented enough to fill in as GK on a talented team that will want to defend a championship? I haven't seen much of him..

Jimmy had lost a step, but glad he could go out a champion.

Looks like Seattle will be out a pretty good keeper next year:
