I have thought about that. Only thing is that my tv only has 2 HDMI inputs. Currently, one is connected to my Dish receiver and the other is connected to my surround box/dvd player. Maybe one of these days I will put the dvd player on the composite(or is component?) connection.

What kind of DVD player is it, Lzen? |
It is an upconverting dvd player.

You can get true 1080p through VGA/HDMI.
Few TVs support 1080p through component. Your tv probably supports 1080i/720p - if you want to be playing your 360 games in 1080p - go HDMI or VGA. I have my 360 hooked up to a 24 inch viewsonic by VGA and it looks fantastic. |

Upconverting DVD players require HDMI to do the upconvert though don't they? Seems like that is what I have read.

I'll be picking up Unreal Tournament III in about an hour. Anyone else getting this?
|
Not me. I'm saving my money for Brothers In Arms in August. I might get *gasp* an EA game when Mercs 2 comes out.
