12 man league, 4 WRs start, PPR, and I'm in the semis. Our league goes deep, so the talent isnt as high across the board.
For my flex spot, choosing between the lesser of three evils: - Bilal Powell (Jets) - LaMichael James (49ers) - Greg Jennings (GB)* *Jennings has been out all year and didn't do shit last week. Now they are playing on the road in Chicago. Who do I start? |
I'm a little worried about Hardesty getting more reps. He would have had the TD last week but fumbled near the goal line. TRich then came in to clean up. Tough decision...Do the Giants have anyone to come in as a goal line back or would that be Wilson as well?

I actually like Bilal Powell v. Tennessee.
|
I should also mention I have Randall Cobb as well.
|
I like Cobb more than Jennings.
If it were me: A) Powell B) Cobb C) Jennings |
Quote:
I was just saying that if I opt for Jennings over James/Powell, then I am tied very heavily to the outcome of the Packers against the best D in the league. QB - Brady WR - Cobb WR - AJ Green WR - Marques Colston WR - Kendall Wright / Greg Jennings RB - Owens (JAX) RB - Chris Johnson TE - Scheffler (damnit Gronk!!!) D - Detroit @ AZ FLEX: Jennings/Wright, Bilal Powell, Lamichael James |
Still like Powell more than Jennings.
|

Sorry... Money on the line, and I'm wanting to cover all the bases. |
Quote:
I don't consider myself a crazy FF guru*. I just like Powell more this week. * I'm not liable if you go with who I suggest. LMAO |
Quote:
You think K. Wright is a solid play over Jennings as well? |
Quote:
NYJ are pretty good against the pass. |
Dammit, I keep stressing this.
Randall Cobb, Julio Jones, Danario Alexander, Danny Amendola, Anquan Boldin Pick two to go along with Calvin Johnson. This game is FTMFW. |

Randall Cobb has been good for me, though. On the road at the Bears with the Bears needing a win may be a tough matchup. BUT, Nelson is out, so he'd get looks...... And Jones is homw, BUT, it's against the Giants.... Tell me to stop whining now. |

good luck, Bowser. |

Arian Foster has been ****ing frustrating.
|
Well, down 21.
Welker for me. Ridley for him. Good riddance. Thanks shitty receivers. 106 points on my bench. LMAO |
Quote:
Well, for me, I'm up 32, but my guys are done and he has Chris Johnson going for the Jets tomorrow night. Had I not freaked out over my receiver position and just played the guys the had gotten me to this point, I'd be up 47 and feeling much better about my prospects. Johnson has only put up that many points once this year - against Buffalo. But, I just KNOW how these things work out..... |
Yeah, all of my good matchups did shit. The bad matchups killed it.
Russell Wilson with 41 points. Dwyer with 8 points. DeAngelo Williams with 18 points. Heath Miller with 15 points. Denver with 14 points. Awesome. |
That's the bitch of it all - you just really have no idea how it's going to go down from week to week. Luck plays as big a part in it as any kind of research could ever help with.
|
Quote:
Oh, and Welker with no targets in the first half. |
Cecil Shorts or Steve Smith? I'm leaning Shorts, as baby puncher is way inconsistent.
|
FTMFW
Dan Bailey or Shayne Graham Jets D or Colts D |
Pick 3:
Jamaal Charles Knowshon Moreno Vick Ballard Reggie Bush |
Moreno Bush Charles
|
Kaepernick or Dalton? Both have terrible matchups on paper.
|
Quote:
BUT here are the 2 caveats about Kaepernick you have to remember: 1) He went into Foxborough against the best D schemer(Bellichek) in the NFL and put 41 on them. And Kaepernick is very athletic regardless of going against a salty D meaning there is always that extra playmaking ability he will have to score points whether with his arm or legs that Dalton only possesses with his arm. The upside to Dalton is that even though going into Heinz the Steeler 2ndary is beat up all to hell and the Steeler D IS NOT the Steeler D of old and the Chargers exposed this big time just a few days ago and it is a divisional game. I say it is a wash and whoever you go with you will be fine but at this point. I would say Kaep just on pure athletic ability to score with his legs which will open up the pass game regardless of the Seattle's superior 2ndary. I gave Bellichek too much credit last week and sat Kaep and I paid for it not going with the hot hand. |
Quote:
Chiefs rush D is a lot better than people give them credit for at this point and when you watch what Clev's D did to the Cowgirls in Irving you will see Cleveland has a pretty salty D as well. |
Now with all that being said in post #670 I have a another semi-dilemma in that I have Gore and Morris. If I start Gore it is more of a High Risk/High Reward play in my eyes than starting Morris in Philly. Gore/Kaep could get me double points if it turns out to be a high scoring affair or totally bust being a defensive game. Gore put up 113 and TD last time in SF but will that happen again on the road in Seattle?
Now that RG is starting the Philly D must focus on RG as well and just can't simply stack the box only focusing on Morris. What say you? |

Quinn starting and Bowe done. Need I say more:D |

for wr#3 I have hilton/nicks/desean jackson I'm convinced that hilton will get a td against oakland, but jackson is going to get more balls as a wr #1 for philly...and nicks, is he really healthy? i've been switching them out all week |
I always get the tight position waaaaay wrong. Every ****ing week.
Sudfeld vs. Bills or Pettigrew vs. Vikings |
Well fack

Anyone else debating sitting Roddy White?
My other starting WRs are Calvin Johnson and Miles Austin and I have Sanu, Hartline, and Broyles. Think I'm gonna sit White and start Hartline. |

You play a WR as your flex? |

Jason Witten is in my flex. |

Giants vs Cowboys = know each other very well and are comfortable balling it up which means anything could happen like the corners shut down the passing game or vice versa. Both teams have good 2ndaries. You are wise for questioning Hakeem and will they target him enough but I would feel comfortable in starting him. Wash vs Philly = know each other very well but Philly has a brand new Offense they are still working the kinks out of against and up and coming defense in Washington. Chip Kelly's offense will take time for all to get the rhythm down but Jackson is such a playmaker and being No.1 WR he will be targeted BUT Philly has to run the ball effectively what little they do. If they don't they will double up on Jackson for sure. Oak vs Colts = Hilton at home as the 'other No.1 WR' IMO that will get targeted even more this year for sure against a college level team in the Raiders with the next Peyton Manning type intelligence in a QB of Luck. Hilton would be my pick with Nicks and Jackson a close 2nd. But....... |
Quote:
Pettigrew at home against a much weaker Vikings D and Lions will always pass first. They do know each other very well but having Johnson to focus on will only open it up for Grew !! |
Gore @ SEA
or Eddie Lacy vs WSH |
Quote:
hilton 1pt jackson 11 |
Pick two:
Joique Bell @ Arizona Ryan Matthews @ Philly Daryl Richardson @ ATL Ridley v. NYJ Thinking Bell and Ridley. Pick three: Dez Bryant @ KC Edelman v. NYJ Givens @ ATL Megatron @ Zona Roddy White v. StL. Thinking Dez (if healthy), Edelman and Megatron. Going with Roddy if Dez is iffy. |
Pick the worst ones. You'll be surprised.
