I want both number 2s. They gave that up for Marshall. Albert is a top 10 OT

When you deal with the Dolphins? You ravage them with force or go home.

Not career. Just last year he passed his physical at the end of the season. He doesn't miss many games ever

The back problem was what I thought the Chiefs were looking LT for.... I need to pay more attention I guess

Jake Long has more injury problems than B Albert. Jake Long is getting about 9 mil a year.

No it's more of $$ saving and younger OT. But OTs can be found later is rather take an impact D player like Jordan

Or Ansah?

Either one Im fine with.

If robinson plays FS and we just get a average ILB we are literally 1 DE away from having a Elite Defense.

mcaj22 03-18-2013 04:41 PM

so it could be

gained
Alex Smith
2nd round pick Miami (Chicago or Miami)
1st round pick on a LT.

loss
Brandon Albert
2nd round pick

is it just me or does that not seem like we went backwards? especially if the pick for Albert is the Bears 2nd rounder. What a waste

We did go backwards.

However be aware this time of RUMORS. Dorsey did say he wished to have Albert signed long term before the start of training camp.

Smith's balls would have to finally drop for us to come out ahead.

Well that didn't take long. Colts plan to sign former Titans QB Matthew Hasselbeck, who was released today, on Tuesday.

@evansilva: Free agency screws up ppl's thinking. FAs are flawed. That's why they hit FA in first place. No way to build team. All great ones know that.

He's a smart man, we got Alex Smith
