Favorite parts!

The new brother
Tiggy and the dolls
omg the IRA deaths!
President Chibs <3

That ending tho.
The trucker that picked up Gemma with his tomatoes?

****ing stupid.

DaNewGuy 12-10-2014 04:47 AM

Ending was ****ing terrible, enjoyed the show but my god wtf was that

Great show, it ended just about how I'd thought... Wendy, Nero and the kids make it safely out and Jax died at his own hand just like his dad before him.

Sutter did have second guessing myself for a few minutes though, he made it look like Jax was going to have the club take him out.

I thought the ending was kind of lacking. But what really ruined it was the Hunt for the Red October level of terrible CGI at the end. Dear god that was bad.

I thought the finale was pretty damn good, overall. Sure, the CGI ending was a bit hokie, but everyone lived that I wanted to live, every piece of shit that needed to die, was killed.

Didn't see the hit on the IRA King coming down, but enjoyed it nonetheless.

And either Sutter doesn't like the post-show setting, or he really was drunk (like he said).

The should have never used the same truck driver for Gemma & I still think they could have should him close his eyes and then you elude to what happened. That CGI was putrid. I feel like it kind of ruined the episode for me. Everyone is right though, it was beautiful and Sutter did a great job.

Sidebar: I guess we know what happened to JT after all eh?

It's morning time! I've had time to absorb. And I'm so irritated with that shitty ass finale I just might wait until the collectors set is on sale.

I kinda enjoyed Chiklis the truck driver being the one that took Gemma to her final destination and on his way back became the one that took Jax to his.

Had a feeling Jax would throw himself in front of a truck like JT, so I'm surprised I didnt see it coming with Chiklis... heres a question that was never answered though, what did Nero keep going out to the garage to look for last week?

I guess what bothered me about the finale was the fact that it kind of seemed rushed. by rushed I meant I wanted August Marks death to take longer. Some kind of dialog, or sadistic planning like when they killed Stahl.

It was just so sudden. like boom, hes dead. Really surprised that Tig made VP, but very happy he did. We all knew that Chibs would be the PRES and it was so well deserved. Didn't really like the way he kind of turned on Althea, but I understand it.

Don't know how many people watched the After show, but Kurt did answer the question of what was with the homeless lady. And that's the beauty of Sutter.

He said and of course im paraphrasing because as he pointed out several times, he was completely trashed, that she means whatever you want her to mean.

I thought when I first saw her hand the blanket to Jax that she was kind of like the reaper. But perhaps from that angle of her giving Jax the Blanket that she was more of a not exactly a guardian angel but more of a compass.

Shrugs. I understand now why Kurt Sutter said that the next to last episode was his favorite. Seeing the finale, I completely understand it. This last episode was more of a summary, where actually the end of the series, was the second to last episode with the death of Gemma.

I guess to be honest what really lured me in about SONS was I started watching pretty much season three, the Ireland season and my son had just been born, so it tugged at my heart strings thinking about losing my own son.

So the last episode really messed with me at the thought of leaving my kids knowing id never see them again. Horrid.

Overall, this is the third best series for me of all time.

Prison Break,
Justified,
Sons Of Anarchy.

That's just a hell of a list. I am really hoping that Sutter does a prequel for this. Maybe I wont want to watch it when and if it ever comes around, but for right now, Sons, you will be missed.

And thank you to all of you who have discussed this show with me.

I hope that the prequel happens. Maybe for a season or two but I think it could and would be very badass.

im not sure he was really necessarily looking for anything, other than to try to keep his emotions under wraps around Wendy. Nero man, what a character. I believe the first time we saw him was what season four?

Maybe 5, but I remember after the season that Sutter talked about not knowing if he could get Jimmy Smits back for the next season. What an addition he was to the show.
