Yeah the books are way too big for a tv series. They'll have to continue to leave plenty out. No worries on plenty more key characters getting killed, GRRM is good at that.

They hinted at Pycelle tricking everyone in the first season, I believe. He had a whore in his chamber and afterwards he stood up tall, stretched and seemed quite spry. It was a very brief scene, but I remember thinking what is the significance of the scene and hadn't thought much of it until seeing this. Interesting.

So my friend just finished watching all three seasons in a row (never read the books) and won't stop bothering me about Jon Snow.

Is it a common thought that Snow is the son of Rhaegar and Lyanna?
