Some huge deer starting to get shot around here now that rifle season has opened.

Winds averaging 20-30 mph here in Oklahoma with gusts reaching 40 mph. Does that ruin any deer hunting? My hunting spot is covered with hills and valleys.

If you're out of the wind you might see some action but usually, no. They won't move in high winds.

I'm hunting with a .270. I could sit on top of a hill over looking a valley. It's an hour drive so I don't want to waste gas if there's little chance of success.

Hey brett, why don't you rush over to the side of a cliff and jump the **** off.

Sit in your truck. Shoot one from your window.

Game wardens popped a couple guys doing this last weekend. Along with the deer they shot. 1 coon & 1 bobcat. Nether had a fur license. Kinda wondering if these 2 fools arent the guys Gonzo caught & was talking about.

No luck today. I walked close to two miles trying to stir up something. We did watch a huge 10 pt walk around about 600 yards away in the neighbors wheat field. They said it was the biggest buck they've seen in a few years.
