Mostly because it's things that have already been on Xur a couple of times since the December dlc arrived, things that very few people are going to want to purchase. Namely Mk. 44 Stand Asides (Titan boots which were recently on there), Don't Touch Me (Hunter gauntlets which have a useful bonus but have been available recently), Starfire Protocal (Warlock chest up for I think the 3rd time), Dragon's Breath (Rocket Launcher which I like, but already the 2nd Time it's been available)

As a whole it's probably even worse than No Land Beyond being up twice. Not much in the way of variety and every single item is from the dlc.

The only exotic I have is the Ice Breaker and some weird helmet with growth on it.

I would probably save whatever strange coins you have for another week, unless you have a ton of them.

Reddit's telling me it's exactly the same items he sold on January 2nd.

I kind of want the hunter gloves, but I can't think of too many occasions when I'd use them.

I'd think about dragon's breath as well but I've already got One Way Ticket with a decent roll, so probably not worth the coins to me.

And probably no engrams for me this week since I've only got mild interest in DTM and No Backup Plans. Not worth rolling on.

I have and like the hunter gloves and dragon's breath both, and even bought the titan boots so I'd be able to reach 30/31, but I also had a lot of coins at the time. There are definitely better options, although if you don't have a good solar exotic heavy, dragon's breath works - i bought it a month ago because i never got gjallarhorn...

When do you use the gloves? I'm having a hard time thinking of when I'd equip them over my Alphabetsoup Symbiote.

I don't have an exotic heavy, so maybe it's worth the coin (I do have a solar Deviant Gravity-A)...If they'd buff the pyromancer I'd probably jump on it. Maybe I should anyway? What's your take?

The gloves are fun doing any kind of daily stuff if I'm running bladedancer for whatever random reason. I can't imagine doing nightfall in them or something like that where a melee hit usually one-shots. But in normal mode stuff, it's pretty hilarious to have a thrall hit me then run around clueless. I wouldn't buy them if I was tight on coins, but I like to collect everything I can get. If I was in what I suspect is Guru's position, I don't think I'd buy them, just run the heroic this week to add to my coin collection and hope Xur has better stuff to spend them on next week.

Speaking for me I'd like to get an exotic machine gun (other than SGA...). I've got truth and dragon's breath so my launchers are covered. Don't actually have a single arc heavy yet (not even purple). Thunderlord would've been nice this week.

Wouldn't mind either getting a new Patience and Time or a Patience and Time upgrade, either. Have Icebreaker and Plan C and just got Pocket Infinity.

Suros and The Last Word are my only primaries I think. I have the Thorn bounty and I just started the 25 strikes for Bad Juju, going to start doing crucible again once I land the bounty for Invective. Been wanting Hawkmoon forever but I don't have that kind of luck.

I hear you. I wan't to collect all the exotic gear eventually as well.

But I've just figured out how to best grind as a casual so for now I can't just buy gear because I don't have it. I need the stuff that fits my playstyle best first, then I'll start picking up what I can later.

So I think I'm passing on everything from squidface this weekend.

Speaking of the weekend, the gf is out of town so I should be free pretty much all day Saturday and Sunday if anyone wants to run around and kill shit.

I got two cases of beer, a fifth of turkey 101 and a roll of cope so I should be fun. Even if only to make fun of.

The hunters on my raid team wear those gloves during the Abyss. The only problem is they die later anyway, cause hunters are squishy.

I used to collect exotics but I've gotten to the point where I'll shard it if I don't use it.

Yeah, I'd heard the abyss was the best use for those.

I don't raid much due to not being online when people I actually want to play with are. And even if I did I probably wouldn't run it with my hunter.
