Rules are Rules and they are in place. I can appreciate the democratic way that this is trying to be handled with but if someone breaks the rules they get banned. Period! If people want him banned for multiple accounts there are several others that should be banned as well. If they do not break the rules leave them alone.

Yeah, I've come to expect it from him and his clan (aka "the mob"). I am in the top 25% of my class at a well-respected school, which to me is an accomplishment, especially considering the talented minds that enter my field. I take regular breaks in order to prevent overload (as I am sure you can imagine, formerly being in dental school which is also very difficult), and I take sundays off on non-test weeks. Thus, I come here every now and then.

The debate is that there have been others that have received the permanent ban and came back. Then became a decent to a good part of the community.

Some of those people were allowed to come back simply because they were technologically savvy enough to circumvent being banned.

Trust me, if Clay could have been perma-banned, he would have been.

He was smart enough to get around it and ultimately, he was smart enough to make people forget it was even needed in the first place.

So, it's not a matter of banning people. It's a matter of how many tries do we let them have to become a decent and good part of the community. Sounds like we need a rules update.

But when something gets hot around here, i.e. Any QB, Geno, Sanchez and someone has a different opinion they get slammed, called names and so on even if there is reputable info, it is quickly dismissed because that "talking head" is a moron, yet you will see the same poster using that same moronic "talking head" when they agree and then when/if it turns out that those that were attacking were wrong. It is oops sorry and there really isn't anything more that they can do either. But it is a continuing cycle with the majority of the same posters perpetuating the insults even though they have been wrong before multiple times.
Just because some people "live" on this site and have seen things over and over they tend to think that everyone else should know it as well. So some info has to be repeated and you know where that lead 9, ok maybe 8, out of 10 times that info is relayed with a negative conitation to the poster that did not have that info.
It is the insults and shit that make people continue to escalate those differences. Inevitably it does not generally end well.
