Pr and me headed to Berezino last night. Thought we were doing well to sneak around the edge of town, when we promptly died a highly undignified death to a guy we didn't see capping us with an M4. It was just so...sudden. It makes me wish I was recording my face for those instances.

What a shitty day on DayZ. Went out to the NE airfield and actually made it there without a compass. I get all sorts of good gear and hear gunshots and people talking on direct chat. I bolt in the first direction I don't see people and proceed to get lost for the next hour and a half.

I ran aimlessly around Chernoblis, reaching the edges of the map several times yet never coming to a town, until finally stumbling into houses... but no city name sign.

At least I know I'm not on the other side of the tracks. Completely geared out including acog in pristine condition. When I finally find my way there, gonna head to the coast and see about learning how to track/kill solo on this game.

I looked to see if people where playing.. wanted to play last night but nobody got on.

Chernarus is a big place, however, there are LOTS of landmarks that you will get to know as you play more. Once you get your landmarks down, you can always get your bearings even without a compass.

I found me a nice M4 if Gorka a couple days ago. Heading to NWAF for mags, then will be looking to kill this week!

Thats what i been doing is wanding around that whole damn map. Its so big i wanna check it out! I have found some cool towns with police stations and supermarkets. Its been fun.

day before yesterday i wasat the police station and some dude just started yelling on the mic like he was a crazy person in a mental home. I was like wtf i just ran and never looked back, never can tell if he's solo or with some buddies. lol

As a guy was killing one of our team with his M4, I was punching him repeatedly in the head til he was knocked out and then Beauford came to shoot him in the head. That was the easiest way to get geared.

That was baller status! And then we shot they guy who was bitching about us shooting at him. Poor Coco though. God rest his soul.

One thing that sucks though is that your ACOG scope was glitching for me so I had to take it off and then when I was trying to kill this other dude with no sights (even iron sights) it took me 33 shots lol.

when he came up on me i was in acog scope mode. so i jsut started firing then he killed me! lol It was fun though! It's just going to take forever to run and load up again.

AS a side note - I have shadowplay running always now. So, no more missing action. i have a ton of vids to edit from the last few days, will work on it this weekend.

So we were really close to the NWAF, next to the town of Lopatino. So I head to the airfield, and am peacefully looting the tents, when I hear gunshots! I booked it out of the tents and into the woods. Man, there was like 4 other people on the server, and for sure at least 2 were up there man. Terrible luck.

damn, the H1Z1 stream today looked a whole lot better then the first stream. It was pretty much an all day stream. Dev's playing and taking you behind the scenes on thier bad ass computer set ups showing you how they actually do stuff. Pretty sweet.

We where laying waste to Berezino last night. I have even more shenanigans recorded but damn I have hours of editing ahead of me~

That kid was a lying sack of shit. He and his cousin were going to kill us, especially if we gave him the ammo. For being his first DayZ experience, he sure knew an awful lot. My first time playing, I didn't know my head from my ass, or how to navigate the city, or load ammo into weapons.

im going to make a short clip where that kid was calling us bad before he got stopped abruptly by a bullet to the skull~ will probably do that one tonight.

I played for a bit today. I was running towards Berezino when a dude typed STOP. So I did... I'm a new spawn so I have nothing.

Dude comes up and asks if I need anything... I tell him I am brand new to the game and my guy says he is hungry. When he goes into his inventory to give me food, I knock him the **** out, steal this gear, and shoot him. First time ever doing that. LOL

Got out of Berezino and had a guy start following me from midway through Berezino all the way to the unnamed city to the West of Svet. The entire time he is on direct chat singing his own chase music "dum, dum, don, don don don don don don don, dum dum, don don don don, dum dum. I gave him the slip at the junkyard just short of the city.

Yes it was good. Standalone is better in a lot of ways, just does not hav enear the content as the mod.

There is but they take forever to get stuff do e by what I have been gathering. Game could be so good. Its already good but they are a long ways off.

yes will be eventually not only lots in cities but roaming hordes, random camps etc.

vehicles are definitely planned they are supposed to do bike first have cars in by end of year and choppers next year

So, I am in Svet running around as a new spawn and run into two guys with guns. They let me go but then see another new spawn and tell us to fight to the death. I yell to the other guy "kill the oppressors!!!" and we both just start punching the shit out of the guys with the guns.

We steal their gear as more of their friends start coming up and hacking at us with farm implements. As I run away to bandage my bleeding self, I hear one of the two guys who accosted me to begin with screaming to his friends... "WHAT NOW... GET HIM... NO, SAVE ME!!!!".

ROFLMAO... literally the most enjoyable 10 minutes of that game I have yet experienced.

you either need morphine or a splint.

Morphine can be found in any medical spawns, splint can be made with rags and sticks

im screwed. lol im just going to have to let it run out til he dies then or server hop and hope there's a zombie around.

I was having some problems running shadowplay while I played archeage so I turned it off last night. Hopped into DayZ without it turned on and of course had my epic encounter where I was ungeared, claimed friendly, and was set upon by a mosin guy and a pick axe guy. I took some pickaxe blows, and mike tysoned both of those mofos and made out like a bandit.

the Makers of Arma/DayZ series are having a 15 year aniversary sale on Steam. I picked up arma 2 and some DLC.

DayZ is even on sale for 25 bucks.

I'll probably pick up Arma 2 combined ops to play the mod.

ive got the mod too.. but tbh it pales in comparison to the standalone. It just has vehicles~

7 man firefight ended in 6 dead. I was the lone survivor and killed the 4 other guys that weren't Falx and kcxiv. My heart is still pounding a few minutes later.
