I'm an animal lover myself. I'd give my dog all the shelter, food and love I have but it's still a ****ing dog. He's going to keep his ass off the furniture, my bed and I for damn sure won't let him lick on my face.

Even the cleanest dogs out there probably don't get washed more than once every few weeks. All that fur collecting dirt and germs... It's just nasty..

I'm not sure what you're getting at here..

But my friend/roommate does that. Guy owned every pair of Jordan's ever made and was bumming rides until he finally bought a car.

Sneaker collections are another thing I'll never understand. What a colossal waste of money.

People are overly indulgent about the things they love. That's all.

Sneakers don't make your ass pop up nicely in the air.

But he loves you. You and he are a pack. Sure, you may be a funny-looking two-legged member of the pack, but he still loves you.

It's not the reality of the situation - it's what you think the other sex (or same sex) finds attractive.

I think it's because it makes us look fragile but that's a whole other conversation about just how ****ed up in the head we are.

also the fact that it's a city, more pedestrians in general than car drivers because well, public transportation, density of buildings/streets makes for an easier walk than drive especially in huge cities. but it's not a race thing unless it's made a race thing, which i think could be dissolved simply by observing someone of your own ethnic background doing the same thing to you with eye contact and all. also, you're driving, they're walking. how long have they been walking? do they have shoes on? could they be on drugs and unaware of the situation the danger they could be in walking in front of traffic? do they care? are they distracted? are they in hot/cold weather, is it a downpour/snow? are they stressed out, just find out their wife had a miscarriage? on the verge of killing
themselves/someone else? did they get turned down for a job 10 minutes ago and now have to walk back to the library to go apply to jobs again? has this person ever even driven a car before? do they know what it's like to be in a hurry at a stopsign/light? etc.

and besides aren't there any hot women next to you in another car or walking near by you can check out while you wait for this group/person to cross? idk....in ari****ingzona

and none of that is to say you're not dealing with issues at all either but i'm just suggesting looking at it differently.

thing is, you're driving, they are walking...you're gonna get there faster anyway.

I go up on the curb and step on the gas it's a blast!

I got big steer horns on the front of my car
They try to get away but they don’t get too far
I got crusted blood, in my wiper blades
If the horn’s blowing Dixie, get out of our way

It's not just crossing the street. Colored person time, or CPT, is a very real thing.

It's the only control they have over other people in life?

As unique as I am I'm not the only one out there wearing heels. And they certainly aren't doing it because the opposite sex is ambivalent.

Honestly, you could have cloven hooves and we wouldn't notice until you started packing your hygiene products under the sink...

Ha. Not every male is quite as Viking. I've been yelled at and jumped on separate occasions just because of the shoes I was wearing. And before you blame my horrendous taste in obnoxious men, I know plenty of women that have similar experiences.

Hmm... of course, there is that rhyme about birds of a feather...
