Nice....eh....ugh.

Why do I allow myself to get excited about this program?

Fansy the Famous Bard 02-04-2014 07:40 AM

The void is slowly being filled. This is desperately needed for the program to get where it needs to be.

You can't turn a team around overnight that loses a third of it's scholarship players during a regime change.

Now just show the damn stadium renovation renderings.

It's a nice boost to our recruiting class. The folks that care about class rankings have us moved up to 49th, and #7 in the Big 12.

damn, TCU...

After basketball season.

Avery:

”I think I’m going to take my talents to a city named Lawrence and be a Kansas Jayhawks,” Avery said. “Kansas is a program that needs to be turned around, and I think I’m going to personally turn it around.”

This past season, Avery rushed for 1,667 yards, caught 16 passes for 249 yards and scored 22 total touchdowns. Avery played running back and wide receiver and will get a shot to play both positions at Kansas.

Nice pickup and love his speed and toughness.....Getting him over Nub and TX is amazing.

I wish Weis could coach as well as he recruits.

Weis is going to have very little to do with "coaching" from here on out.

He's doing exactly what he was brought in here to do. Let him ride the figurehead role for the rest of his contract and the program is going to be in very good shape.

Love the kid's attitude. Beats the hell out of "I'm going to go to a top program and blend in, and try to keep my head down for a couple of years until I have no choice but fish or cut bait."

More like "I don't have the confidence that I can compete against other top talent at a good program so I'll go to a school where the program recruits mostly trash. That way, there will be no competition for a starting spot. Man, I can't wait to strive for 1 or maybe even 2 conference wins a year!!!
