Unless you wise up, you deserve a fart in your general direction or the loss of your man card, if you have not forfeited that already.

Why can't they retaliate later?

Sweet Daddy Hate 10-31-2013 04:21 PM

When will it end? This isn't the ****ing pee-wee league. Goodell is such a bitch.

Don't nullify touchdowns. Make them forfeit the extra point.

So you are suggesting a premeditated attempt to injure without being penalized?

I suppose you do not know the difference between "heat of passion" manslaughter and first-degree premeditated murder.

We live in a society that more severely punishes people who premeditatedly injure or kill with design of avoiding detection. People that are provoked and act in the heat of the moment are considered to be less morally culpable.

It was chickensh*t for Golden Tate to taunt like he did on that TD, and that single play is the reason this subject may come up before the competition committee.

It might even be more chickensh*t to plan on taking a cheapshot on a later play with the hopes of injuring the player and making it look unplanned.

The good news is that this won't take effect until at least next year.

So Chiefs can go win a super bowl now, and I will stop watching football before it's fully pussified.

There was a time that clothesline tackles and headslaps and a lot rougher play than is allowed to day was legal on the NFL field.

Do you know that no player in those times would have even thought about doing what Golden Tate did?

That would have been automatic unsportsmanlike conduct enforceable from the line of scrimmage.

Taunting somebody just because the rules protect you from retaliation is the "pussified" thing.

You should find an appropriate male role model to explain to you the facts of life.

It was the worst example I've ever seen, by a large margin. I have to admit that I wanted the personal foul to negate the play.

No way. Cassel would throw 25 TDs in a league like that. THey'd all be dumpoffs to the fast little bitch in the sports bra, but still. Alright I'm retiring from ever trying to post anything humorous again.

Gravedigger 10-31-2013 05:28 PM

This is some straight peewee football bullshit where everyone gets an award and it's for effort!!! They should just mold out 32 Lombardi trophies every year if this is true.

The whining and hand-wringing over Golden Tate's taunt is getting ridiculous. Not once did it cross my mind during that play that the touchdown should be revoked. The solution to taunting is simple: play better defense, then you won't be taunted. If the taunt "victim" can't be mature enough to avoid retaliating violently and costing their team, then that's their problem.
