Thanks for the invite. He would really dig that! :) He's always been fond of trains and we have yet to take him to ride on one or see one up close.

When he is a lil older & can appreciate what he is seeing & riding. The Durango to Silverton railroad in Colorado is one of the most beautiful 6 hour trains rides in the world. & a great vacation destination.

My Super Nintendo was awesome and I still have it down in the basement. When I my firstborn shoots out my wife's vag, I'm giving her a spin on what pops played back in the day :)

I loved GI Joe and Transformers when they first came out.

Jet fire was my favorite. that toy was bigger, heavier, and more durable than any other transformer. it also looked just like a Robotech mech.

The Cobra Rattler was my favorite from the GI Joe line. Unfortunately both GI Joe and Transformers went to shit pretty quick. Transformer designs used to be based on actual cars, planes and other objects. that lasted for 1 season and then they started making transformers out of dinosaurs and weird futuristic stuff. The GI Joe toys progressed like that too. it only took a few years before they were making stupid sci-fi toys.

if you include leisure sports equipment as toys, I would have to include my Diamondback BMX bike and my Powell Peralta skateboards.

GI joe was my game. I had over 100 figures, the aircraft carrier, the space shuttle, all the vehicles. Every week my allowance fed my Joe habit.

yeah....they reissued it a few years ago without the drone.

probably one of my favorite vehicles was the dune buggy though, with the working suspension.

I should probably correct myself... I will give the toy manufacturers some credit for Thomas The Train play sets. My son owns damn near every train and play set on the market. He has tripped over them and played rough with them and they're very durable.

The problem though is it takes so damn long to put the tracks together. By the time it's complete, he plays for 5 minutes, loses interest, then I have train tracks all over the house. lol

our son is a HUGE train freak too...he still plays with his train table EVERY day.

Might have to get it out on Christmas day and let the family play with it.

Wow. What a coincidence. That is the toy I remember most too and was just looking online for pics of it. Unreal. What are the odds because overall I don't think it was that popular.

Yeah I had one of those also. Its was awesome. I had tons of Joes and star wars. Still have most of the Joes. Handed them down to my son when he was old enough.

He got into the 25th ann. stuff a few years ago, but they didnt compare to the originals.

I don't know if you'd call this a "toy" but I have a classic Tornado Foosball table. I worked in a bar in college, and was the "house champ."- I got to play a lot of free foosball. Anyway, I graduated after a fall semester, and the bar owner was expanding the bar, and gave me the table as a graduation/Christmas present - one of the best gifts I ever received. It made me cry. That was in 1981. Still have the table and it's in great condition. That's my favorite toy.

LiveSteam 12-25-2012 10:10 AM

I love foosball
