Exactly.

Why don't you?

He throws the ball down the field less than anyone in the NFL save Christian Ponder.

Look at that objectively and tell me you like him.

This is obvious, but I still need to add a point.

Dorsey ****ed up the Alex Smith deal. Hopefully he doesn't get raped on this one.

I hope Dorsey actually is a draft and personnel genius. If he's not that, and he's not a tough SOB negotiator, his ass is worthless.

Hopefully Albert won't get what he wants from the Dolphins and it might lower his asking price to something the Chiefs will accept.

Smith will be slightly better than Cassel. That's it. End of discussion.
At best we can hope he cuts down on the picks and can stretch the field more than Matty.

This is basically what Jake Long did. He had a offer from the Rams and gave the Dolphins a chance to match it.

Albert can say no to this trade too but its unlikely.

Jake Long was a free agent. Different situations.

I wonder what would happen if Albert's expectations for his contract fell after his agent negotiates with Miami. Would he be more inclined to accept the long-term deal the Chiefs had on the table?

Yes I know that but Albert could basically do the same thing.

Asks KC to sign him at Dolphins price because Dolphins want to re do his deal.

Smith has won a playoff game. What has Cassel done? Shit the bed in one.

He's not saying no to any trade that's going to net him his payday. The Chiefs aren't matching any offer he gets from the Dolphins.

Let the Geno dream go.

ChiefsCountry 04-18-2013 06:19 PM

Lets say its for a second round pick, we essentially traded Branden Albert for Alex Smith. Damn thats like getting raped with a barbwire dildo.
