That's not a prayer. It's a good 3. Barely behind where the NBA 3 point should be. A makeable basket for any college player with a decent stroke.

I'm impressed by McLemore. He hasn't gotten rattled by the situation like Ellis has.

Eh, MSU is only 4/11 from 3 and shooting 50%... they've played some good defense down the stretch, KU's kind of lost on offense at the moment, and MSU hit some FTs... :shrug:

Both McLemore and Ellis are really talented. Both have to learn to be more aggressive and assertive.

Too bad, wasn't a bad shot there at the end. KU played better overall than I thought they would (with the exception of Withey not showing up) and there's a lot of positives to take from this game.

Well, that was because that game was stolen from us by the refs and a fluke three. MSU was just slightly better than us in this game and won down the stretch.

McLemore played pretty damn well tonight. It was Withey that didn't show up to play (which kind of cost them the game).

Unfortunately frosh will be frosh though, so all we can expect is inconsistency. Self should have recruited more on Offense so we would have at least a small portion of experience Offensively. I'm not saying the sky is falling but this will be a bit frustrating for a while.

Not sure what there is to be angry about. The outcome of this game is almost completely meaningless to what KU will do this year. For myself, I was happy that they actually played well unlike the terrible game against SEMO (and the exhibitions).

Withey didn't stop much of anything tonight. It was like he wasn't there for most of it. Don't know why he chose the SEMO game to try and not this one, but it is what it is.

This is Kansas. When you are favored to win you need to win the damn game.

Being asked to do too much there, I think. He's never shown the ability to be a late game scorer beyond the ability to knock down an open shot or two. Late game offense will have to rely on EJ and hopefully McLemore/Ellis once they're up to it.

I was surprised Ellis played so poorly, Part of being a freshman I guess.

I'm really disappointed with Ellis tonight.

I won't be too hard on the freshman, but the Seniors played less than an average game tonight. Disappointing to say the least.

Sorry, while I think this is a meaningless loss for KU, I would always take any win over any loss.

I wish we had a freshman or two that would step up from the get go. And play more loose and wide open on offense geez. Big10 offense at its finest tonight lol.
