One or both of the boys getting offed would be a ballsy move.

heh...yea, thats getting to be way unbelieveable. Theres no way a professional woman like that would allow her two kids to be in danger that long. She would have left Jax's ass long ago. Oh, that was another reset button storyline with the hit on her. The CIA/Cartel guys were like "we werent gonna hurt her, just keep her quarantined"

I actually didn't see it that way. I thought the "hit" was the first giveaway that things weren't the way they appeared. Trying to pull her into the van, and there seemed to be something off about the guys inside. I remember thinking at the time it was something Potter had organized somehow. Right idea, wrong agency.

If it was the one Tara gave birth to then she might resent the other kid. That would be funny.

Nice longish interview with Sutter. He basically responds to the critisism about season 4. Nice to see him stand up for his work.

Yup, I thought that as well. It seemed odd to me that they didn't just shoot her (or really fight back when Jax took her back). Their "attempt" makes a whole lot more sense now.

Bump 12-11-2011 11:21 PM

how did I miss this show? Thank goodness for netflix, this show is great! It almost makes you want to be in a biker gang, lol. I just finished the first season, fantastic!

NewChief 12-12-2011 07:46 AM

Just started this show as well. Watched the first 3 episodes so far, and I'm enjoying it. Gemma is quite a character, heh.

Bump 01-19-2012 09:05 PM

just finished season 3, best scene in that whole season and it was a mother****in Jameson juice box!

Yeah, there was talk about that, they just made it for the show. lol Sutter was like, there is no Juicebox for that. haha

NewChief 01-23-2012 01:03 PM

HOLY SHIT!!! Just saw Tara go beast mode on that hospital administrator who has been making her life miserable. ROFL

listopencil 02-24-2012 12:38 PM

I finished season one and just started season two. I was watching a scene where Tig was getting transferred to a new hospital, the group was riding and fat Elvis' bike caused him to crash . Funny thing...he was getting transferred to Red Bluff. I know that hospital (St. Elizabeth's) and I happen to be on my way to Red Bluff to grab a Kindle Fire from Staple's after the episode. It's a bad hospital, by the way. We avoid it.

NewChief 02-24-2012 01:27 PM

I haven't been able to start Season 3 as of yet. I pretty much always read the wiki on a show when I start watching it, so I know what's going to happen plotwise. The Ireland plot just doesn't look very interesting to me for some reason.

that was the main complaint about season 3. I liked it, but admit season 3 isnt nearly as good as season 2 was.

The back half of season 3 gets alot better once they get out of Ireland and really finishes strong at the end.

The end really ties it all together.... and makes the Ireland trip worth it

kcxiv 02-24-2012 05:08 PM

That ending of Season 3 may have been the best thing ever in TV to end a season finale. That twisted ass justice was just a beautiful disaster.

Tribal Warfare 09-11-2012 06:24 PM

bump for the premiere

Buck 09-11-2012 08:48 PM

What a pleasant surprise. I had no idea it was coming back tonight.

Last thing I remember is Opie shooting Clay. Did he die? I cant remember how the last season ended.

Braincase 09-11-2012 09:15 PM

JFC... what a way to start the new season. Teeg is going off the freakin' chain.

kcxiv 09-11-2012 09:23 PM

Yeah, Poor Tig, iw as like damn it, they just went in on the first episode.

Deberg_1990 09-11-2012 09:50 PM

Great start! Glad to have it back. That Tig scene with his daughter was a killer. Wow...

Nice cast additions of Jimmy Smits and Harold Perrineau from Lost as this seasons big bad.

Theories on who busted in on Unser at the end?

Chiefnj2 09-11-2012 10:23 PM

One hell of a way to start the new season. Wow.

I thought it was pretty clearly the nomads that joined SAMCRO earlier in the episode. The peg leg guy gave it away.

Phobia 09-12-2012 01:03 AM

I'm a little frustrated. Apparently my series recording entry got deleted so now I get to wait until next week to catch the first two episodes unless it appears on-demand first.

Bwana 09-12-2012 05:38 AM

Black Bob 09-12-2012 06:23 AM

Hell of a first episode... Tig is going to die this season I bet. He is going to lose his mind.

Also, seems like Gemma may have been slipped a mickey or something. Wonder if that guy works for the Mayans or something? It doesn't add up...

Yea, there is definitely something more going on with that guy than just the escort service. It was interesting to see Smits play a character so much different than his NYPD and LA Law characters.

Heh, how long before Jax jumps into bed with one of the blonde escort girls?

Don't forget Dexter for Jimmy Smits too!

it will rerun throughout the week...unlike lots of other channels.

OK...is it just me....or am I the only one that felt like Tigs acting in the burning daughter scene was a little lacking? it was most certainly absolutely gut wrenching (I really didn't think Harold was gonna actually do it! he's always a good guy it seems...way to step outta your comfort zone).
man oh man...I have two kids and....I just thought he coulda pushed it more.

this and breaking bad....what am I gonna do when they are both gone!

I CANNOT remember WHY Tig tried to run down the dude at the restaurant...you know when he killed the girl. he did that unauthorized, he wasn't told to do that...right? but WHY did he do it?

Buck 09-12-2012 10:18 PM

Man, that was one of the best episodes of the entire series.

KcMizzou 09-18-2012 09:59 PM

A few thoughts on tonight's episode.

Clay's as devious and dangerous as ever. Should have let Opie finish him.

I'm usually not a big fan of Jimmy Smits, but I really like his character in this. He's won me over kinda like he did Jax. I feel like he'll end up turning on them... but I'd rather see him stay an ally to SOA. (and stick around)

I admire Opie's loyalty, but man I really hope it doesn't burn him yet again.

Tig's lost one daughter literally, and seems to have lost the other. The dude was already a little crazy....

So what are the thoughts on the Nomads stirring up the trouble. Were they never really part of the club...are the members of a rival trying to infiltrate the MC...are they actually working for Clay in the shadows to stir the pot. They did keep clays docs from the safe so there must be some connection.

Chiefnj2 09-19-2012 08:10 AM

The one thing I don't like is the CIA connection. I think it is too easy to use it as an escape hatch/get out of jail free card.

Yes but holeeeeeeeeeeeeeey shit. This episode was brutal. The ascendacy to the throne theme vs family is going to end up great.

The development of the characters is very Shield like. A few get built up and look like they are about to be major characters and then they get taken out.

My question is when does Juice get dropped for being a snitch.

Writers sure got the plot line moving in just two episodes. Holy shite! I'm guessing Tig takes Pope out in the season finale. Great show.

Tig is also the reason Opie died. He's also the reason his daughter was burned.

Tigs life is going to end much like Clays friend at the end of season 2 (I believe)... with Jax pushing him off a building.

I was just reading that the writers probably felt they had written the character into a corner. How can we reasonably still believe that he would be loyal to the club after the death of his wife and father? After thinking about it, makes sense to me.

That was a different guy. He had a white shirt on and no cut.

I wonder when they're going to work Juice's snitching in. There's so much going on and Jax and Bobby know a current guy was a snitch.

Well the writers have a lot of options here. Remember what Tigs said to Pope? That he was going to cut his head off? I thought that might be some less than subtle foreshadowing. We'll see. If you' d like to wager some casino cash, I 'm in.

Deberg_1990 09-26-2012 11:03 AM

Tig, Juice and obviously Clay will die before the series ends. Jax might to. Hes starting to turn darker....more Clay-like.

underEJ 09-26-2012 02:05 PM

That was intense. I watched an ep from season 1 for fun the other night and holy crap, what a steep grade this show has been on into the high intensity over its few years. The season one problems seem almost light hearted in comparison to the last two episodes.

Will miss you Opie, but I'd like more Chibs now please.

KcMizzou 09-26-2012 06:52 PM

I screwed around and got this episode spoiled for myself. Sucks.

Hate to seem him go. Of all the characters he was the one who made me think, "Jesus! Why can't something good happen for this guy for once?" And he didn't even get the satisfaction of Clay's death.

Thats what this show is about. its going to get worse and worse for them, then finally something will happen and it will stop, but we dont know exactly how. Does Clay get back to power? does Jax become a Clay like Villain, does Jax get them back to just a bunch of guys just hanging out drinking and away from the Drugs and Guns? Does Jax die? No one knows, but Kurt Sutter.

Its gonna be interesting.

Deberg_1990 09-27-2012 06:28 AM

Its almost certainly Clay behind the home invasions and the whore house sting. Cole told Jax he didnt know anything about the home invasions.

Laying Pipe was just a great episode. The stuff between Jax and Pope. "These are the kinds of moves that turn playas into Kings" "I dont give a sh*t what happens to Tig anymore"

I even love all the girly drama with Tara, Gemma and Wendy. Tara has really hardend herself the past two seasons. Its interesting to see her turn into a younger Gemma but with a few more morals.

Great stuff.

BTW, anyone notice who helped write this last episode and has been a writer on there for awhile now. Liz Sagal….katey Sagals younger sister. She has a twin too. They were sort of popular back in the 80s. Just thought it was an interesting tidbit.

the look on Jax's face at the very end...glaring at Tig. he's gonna kill that piece of shit! sonofabitch Opie dies and Tig lives. ****! I watched late, finished around 1am laying there so pissed off I couldn't sleep.
GREAT GREAT SHOW! I still have Breaking Bad on top of this one....for now....

Clay TOTALLY setup the ho house bust. I want him dead. Please PLEASE let it be Jemma!
Juice is a bitch. I want him dead.
Pope - wow....I thought Jax was gonna jump his ass in the office after Opies death. Harold P is just a great actor and a great additioin to the show.....I want him dead! :D

Opie -RIP

Johnny Lewis, an actor who most notably appeared on the FX series Sons of Anarchy, died on Wednesday in Los Angeles after he either fell or jumped off a roof to his death at a home where an 81-year-old woman was found dead inside.
Authorities say 28-year-old Lewis is suspected of killing the woman, who owned the house. He may have been renting a room from the homeowner, identified as Catherine Davis by the Los Angeles County Coroner's Office.
