Everyone but Forte, he is a risk going into the weekend. The other three are starters.

Here's another one Must start 3 or I can replace one of the RBs I have as the Flex (But doubt it's worth it). Wes Welker @ MIA Percy Harvin @ GB (Q/ ankle) Brandon LaFell @ KC  Antonio Brown @BAL I am leaning towards benching Brown, honestly. LaFell has been getting a ton of targets the past two weeks with a tempting match-up against KC. Here's the really tough one: Jason Witten vs PHI Greg Olsen @ KC We get torched by TEs and Olsen is quite the security blanket for Newton, but Witten is Witten and he's going against that awful PHI defense. I'm leaning towards Witten, but I fear I will see Olsen rip us apart and regret it. |
At 11-1 I'm heading into a meaningless game before a bye week into the playoffs, so this is more of a curiosity play for me.
Charles vs Panthers CJ2K vs Texans Shower your wisdom. |

I've got a couple I'd be interested in seeing some takes on.
When in doubt I usually start the home team defense but with the way the Pats have been putting up points their D has been very opportunistic however Manning should be able to shred the Bucs porous secondary. Also I'd like to note that the last 3 weeks I've gone the wrong way and cost myself 2 shots at high Def score for the season and a $50 bonus. Pats D vs. Miami Broncos D vs. TB Secondly my flex choice for the week is either Sproles,or Cobb,I'm leaning towards Cobb as his consistency up until this last week has been great but seeing that Sproles didn't play in the first match-up with Atlanta and N'awlins is in must win mode, what say you. |
Two choices this week for the bye next week
TD only league Cruz or Shorts Which DEF, all turnovers and sacks 1 point, 6 points for TD, no penalty for points allowed Packers or Giants |
Who to start?
Stafford vs Indy or Kaepernick @ STL Denarious Moore vs CLE or DeMarco Murry vs Eagles (if healthy) Im leaning Stafford and Murray if he is healthy |
I wouldn't start DeMarco yet...
Stafford and Kaepernick is a toss up...with Kaepernick and his rushing yards, he's almost a must start...I'm starting him over Romo (in a juicy matchup). |

Assuming DMC plays. Who will suck less: DMC v. Cleveland or DeAngelo Williams v. KC?

Complete desperation at the QB position. Need a win and a lot of help to make playoffs.
Start Carson Palmer against Cleveland, or Ryan Fitzpatrick against Jacksonville? |

The Browns play everyone tough, and they don't give up a ton of points either. Joe Haden locks guys down, and who knows how that backfield will perform. I'd say chuck a prayer up with Fitzpatrick. |
With DMC unlikely to play pick a FLEX - Alexander v. Cincy, DHB v. Cleveland, Myers v. Cleveland or DeAngelo Williams v. KC.
Leaning towards Alexander. |

so in a league I'm in we have an auction waiver wire and I only have $10 left out of $100 that was started. I can't believe that I got Bryce Brown for $0. LOL the combination of Adrian Peterson and Brown netted me 57 points. I have ended up with a pretty gangster lineup through waiver wire pickups. I dumped Britt weeks ago to get Shorts and that has been nothing but double digit production, too. Picked up TY Hilton and he is producing just like Shorts. Crabtree is getting it done as well. Basically all my WR's this week had over 100 yards receiving with or without a TD. ****ing going to bench Decker. I watched that game and Manning never looked in Deckers direction. I couldn't believe it. Never progressed his reads was usually throwing on his first look which was Thomas or Tamme.
Here's my box score. Look, Steve Smith has only scored 1 TD all season. The last 3 weeks he didn't get over 60 yards so I benched him. He was against weak defenses against the pass, too and wasn't getting it done. Then he goes off on the Chiefs. FML |
I think I'm going to gamble here. If I win this week I'm going to try and grab Russell Wilson of the waiver wire today and bench Aaron Rodgers next week when he plays against the Bears. Last visit he put out 12 points. Wilson will be in Buffalo next week and the matchup is much more favorable than Rodgers.
|
Okay, this is really, really important. It's the playoffs. I need to start three of the following five receivers. Which three? They're presented in random order to avoid bias.
Moore, Denarius. Moore, Lance. Jennings, Greg. Johnson, Stevie. Bowe, Dwayne. |
I'm not touching that one with a 50 foot pole, Rain Man. I will say no to Bowe...and honestly, how about the waiver wire? Chris Givens? Josh Gordon? I honestly like those two guys better than D. Moore and Stevie Johnson (is he hurt?) I'd say yes to Lance Moore, no to Bowe, and then maybe scour the wire for the aforementioned guys (I really like both this week)
|

I've been juggling receivers all season. I started out 8-0 because the rest of my team was really strong, but I lost 3 of my 4 running backs and my QB and defense cooled down, so I lost 4 of the last 5. I really need my WRs to come through for me this game. My initial thinking was Jennings, L. Moore, and Bowe. D. Moore has really underachieved the last couple of weeks, and Johnson has been fine, but his two catches last week scared me. Givens does indeed look intriguing. |

I feel like Bowe is a solid play with Cassel at QB...because he forced him the ball. Quinn seems to check down a lot or find Baldwin. It's quite odd, really. I wouldn't play Bowe, though. This game, IMO, is going to be like a 13-6 affair. I think both teams are gonna pound the ball to shorten the game and there won't be a lot of passing on either side. Bowe was my one big no and I've never been a Denarious Moore fan. If Stevie Johnson plays I think I'd go with Lance, Stevie + waiver wire guy like Givens.
|
First week of the playoffs.....
I'm highest scoring team in the league but I'm trying to figure out if I go with my normal starting lineup or deviate and start other players. My current selections are bolded. QB: Choose 1 Matt Ryan @ Panthers Colin Kaepernick vs Dolphins RB: Choose 2 Doug Martin vs. Eagles Jamaal Charles @ Browns Stevan Ridley vs. Texans WR: Choose 3 Julio Jones @ Panthers A.J. Green vs. Cowboys Victor Cruz vs. Saints Pierre Garcon vs. Ravens TE: Pick 1 Greg Olsen vs. Falcons Jared Cook @ Colts DEF: Pick 1 Browns vs. Chiefs Jets @ Jags |
Damn your team is stacked.
Only thing I would possibly change is to replace Charles with Ridley. No one has been running on the Browns since Taylor and Rubin came back. And their defense overall has been great the past 3-4 weeks since getting healthy. I also think the Chiefs fall behind early and that limits Charles' work. Could go either way with those two though so go with your gut. |
Quote:
Like other guys have said I'd try to avoid Bowe with Quinn starting if I could. He's also going against Haden. One of the few shutdown corners in the league. D. Moore got benched last weekend so not sure if I'd start him and on a short week. And when you consider the Thursday night games have been a fantasy wasteland, I'd try to avoid him. L. Moore is solid, I'd probably start him but meh doesn't excite me either. Stevie...meh. I'd start Jennings with confidence, L. Moore due to your options and Stevie or waiver wire pickup. |
Who do I start at QB?
Ryan at Carolina or Eli vs New Orleans It seems like every time I make a change with these guys I pick the wrong one. |

I'm leaning toward Jennings and Lance Moore for sure, and I'm still debating Bowe versus Johnson. Brady looked a little more toward Bowe last week, but Johnson is on an offense that actually scores occasionally. |

Flex spot.
DMC v. Denver Brandon Myers v. Denver Danario Alexander @ Pitt Heath Miller v. San Diego. |
Myers v. Denver. I think that is Denver's only hole in their defense is covering the TE. I think if Roethlisberger comes back then I'd start Miller because he's a TD threat. I dropped DMC. He burned me so **** him.

Yeah. I'm thinking Myers over DMC.
Oakland will be playing from behind all game and who knows how effective DMC will be, especially with Reece in the lineup -- who has been pretty productive. |
okay, I have an interesting choice here. This league I'm doing good at, 8-5 and making the playoffs.
it starts 2 of everything, even defenses, TE's and kickers. So my QB's are Shaub, Luck and Russel Wilson. Luck is the #8 QB in this league and he's been very solid so he starts. Now, i'm torn between Shaub and Wilson. Who should I start? Matt Shaub @ NE Russel Wilson vs Ari Leaning towards Shaub because the NE game has potential to be a shootout but Wilson is hot right now and Arizona is shitty. What to do? |
Would go with Schaub this week

if I had Jimmy Graham I don't think I could ever bench him
you just never bench your studs I've learned that the hard way time and time again I'm benching larry fitzgerald this week so he'll go off for 150 and 3 |
Luckily, like CJizzles, this week doesnt matter for me, my spot is 99% locked up. But sitting the 4th scoring TE in the league for the 5th best (with a better matchup) isnt a crazy move, so it still pisses me off.
|
The only good thing to take away from last night's game is DMC looked good.
I feel more comfortable now with the trio of Foster, Dwyer and DMC. And DMC plays the Swiss Chiefs defense next week. |
So I have to win this week to stay in the 4th spot and get into the playoffs in my ten team league. looking for some input on wrs and rbs. with the standard 2 rb, 2 wr and a flex rb/wr spot who would you'll start between....
steven jackson demarco murray sproles bryce brown spiller leshoure calvin steve smith t.y hilton malcom floyd britt I was thinking.. murray, bryce, calvin (obviously a no brainer), steve smith and spiller in the flex |

I've literally, in an obscure if you score over 100 you basically win league, lost 4 out of the 5 games so far in the most bizarre fashion possible. One week I was tied going into a game with Peyton Manning, Joel Dreesen and Eric Decker vs. Michael Turner and lost by 3. One week I needed 8 more yards from Peyton Manning to get my yardage bonus and win by 4 but instead Decker drops the ball and they punt and kill the clock the next possession and lose by 1. Then I benched New England's defense for the Bengals against the Chiefs, rattle off 116 points, lose by 10 to a guy with a miracle week and had 40 points on the bench from New England's defense (against the Colts). and now, despite all of that (I have two of the top three scorers with Manning and RGIII in a 2 QB league) I make the playoffs if I win, don't lose by 34+, or have another guy lose (though he's playing the worse team)... and I just know I'm going to get crushed and miss the playoffs now. |

here is the scoring for this league: 0 points for 74 yards or less receiving 5 points for 75 and 2 points for every 25 after the 7f 6 points for 1-9 yard TD 9 points for 10-39 yard TD 12 points for 40+ yard TD I can't ****ing quit Fitz...Skelton is starting this week but I'm just going to stick with my guns and bench him. So it's between Britt and Gordon. I already started Decker, and I'm also starting Cobb. my lineup is: Peyton Manning RGIII Bryce Brown Jamaal Charles Chris Johnson Eric Decker Randall Cobb Josh Gordon Aaron Hernandez Browns Defense Ravens kicker I have Fitzy and Britt on the bench and could start either over one of the running backs but won't do it. I'm really happy how I managed my team this year...it's a super, super competitive league that has been going on for 15 years now...two 12 team divisions...winner of each "league" plays for the overall title in week 17 for a ton of money a guy offered me CJ for Ben Tate around week 5 or so (he had Foster and CJ had been miserable) and then the RB carousel week I ended up with Brown when guys like Parmale and Hillman went before him (got lucky there) and landed Cobb after week 1 I've had the worst possible luck...it's incredible. 8-5 is the worst I could be right now, and I am. It just sucks that I even have a shot of missing the playoffs this week. |
I realize nobody really cares about other people's fantasy teams but here is the look of our two 12 team league league page:
http://www10.myfantasyleague.com/2012/home/48194#0 It's a really cool league with very obscure scoring and super deep rosters. |
basically, you need good QB's to win the league...everything else is gravy...I'd absolutely hate the league if it was my only league but since it's not it is actually my favorite...
super competitive, only 4 teams make the playoffs in a 12 man format...we got 2nd out of 24 a few years back...it really sucked because we built out entire team around Peyton...we had Peyton, Clark, Wayne and Harrison starting every week and that was the year they benched Peyton for week 17 and all of the skill players so we really had no shot in the championship but still received a healthy payout! |
drew brees vs NYG or andrew luck vs TEN? its hard to bench brees, but i like luck's match up better.
|
Have a dilemma at WR3 today:
Greg Jennings vs DET Pierre Garcon vs BAL Stevie Johnson vs StL Standard scoring, .5 PPR. |
Try this one for an early week 15: QB .2 per 5 yards 6 per passing TD
Rodgers at Chicago or Freeman at New Orleans over the last four weeks Rodgers has 19.7 @ Det, 12.8 @ NYG, 16.9 v Min, 14 v Det.....Freeman has 28.5 @ Car, 10.2 v Atl, 20.3 @ Den, 20.7 v Phi |
Freeman.
|
I just don't understand why you'd draft Rodgers and bench him...regardless of how great Freeman's matchup is.
Of course in adult leagues with an OP Freeman and Rodgers both start every week...you know, because it is realistic. |
Hootie, go **** yourself AND your 2QB leagues....I won't say "nobody", but very few people give two damns what your whining ass thinks.
I'm leaning that way as well Pest |
Quote:
I get that 2QB leagues are fun and unique, but nobody here gives a damn. |
someday everyone will see the light
until then you'll have playoff scenarios that involve benching Aaron ****ing Rodgers because traditional leagues devalue the most important position in FFL Tell me a league set up like this doesn't take a lot more skill than a shitty, 1 QB, traditional non PPR league? http://games.espn.go.com/ffl/clubhou...&seasonId=2012 |

only two starting QB's not rostered in that league this week?
Nick Foles and John Skelton. Like it should be...you know, because QB is the most important position in sports. But 10 team, traditional leagues...LMAO Every week you start who? 10 out of 32 NFL QB's? That's the most ****ing ridiculous thing, and unrealistic I might add, in fantasy football. You want to know why FFL is considered luck? Because of 1 QB leagues. Luck isn't nearly the factor in 2 QB, deep roster leagues like I play. The league I linked has been going on for four years and I have four division titles, three #1 seeds, two points titles and 1 championship. This is a super competitive, super active, pay to play league as well. But you guys keep playing devalued QB leagues where guys like Roethlisberger, Kaepernick, Freeman, Ryan, E. Manning, etc...DON'T EVEN START. Insane. |
Quote:
But him preaching about 2QB leagues to us, which ultimately makes no difference to him is incredibly annoying. |
