is it legal to tackle a player when the ball is in the air?

It looks well-timed to me. Ball is over his head as he is being tackled. And no, there is no PI on an uncatchable ball.

Yup
Although, Dallas has the least at home (11) and the Cheatriots have the least away (7) and 19 at home.

Relax bro. I don't get why you need to make everything so personal. It is possible to civilly disagree without getting on some high horse.

Show me plays like that and I'll gladly reconsider or change my stance. Doesn't mean Nelson should be absolved of his penalty. I also enjoy how you demand I answer your question last night be gladly ignore mine.

I was complaining about some of the calls like all of you. Especially the one on Fuller to negate the Edelman opi. That was outrageous unless there is an angle we didn't see I just get frustrated when our take penalties when they aren't even giving the refs a chance to miss it. We can control that. We have to. When you are playing a team like NE, fair or not, you have to.

Lol How did I make it personal? I didn’t call you any names or anything. Sorry if you felt attacked. You seem nice.

You assumed the Pats weren’t blatantly holding too, which I think is pretty naive. Everybody does it.

Also, what was your question? I honestly never saw it.

Hard to win when you are playing against two teams.

Iowanian 10-15-2018 02:54 PM

My favorite part was when the DID call the pats for a PI....a random offsetting flag appeared late.

The refs definitely didn't hurt the Pats chances at the W, but in reality....the Chiefs offense could have scored 7's instead of some 3s in the first half, thrown a couple of less INTs that left really short fields....and the Defense could have made 1 punt....one.

Long time lurker, hopefully I seem nice.

This thread finally pissed me off enough to make an account. If the rule is different in the NFL and I'm just a dumbass (entirely possible) then ok, but how is the lineman not flagged for being an ineligible man downfield...? He's clearly outside the neutral zone, as well as being a clam chowder guzzling piece of shit?

Usually it's not called if he's actively engaged in a block...

Aaron Hernandez was flagged for more murders than the Pats were obvious holding non calls.

Cheapshot bullshit that gave Morse concussion:

Guess he let them score the other 33 points huh?

Wow. We always get ****ed on plays like this where there’s no penalty and an injury to throw salt into the wound.

Not attacked, just felt like you were swinging when I was just trying to have a discussion about it. Was basically just asking if it's fair to hold Fuller accountable for taking down Hogan even if Hogan was pushing.

My point really is this.....it might not be fair, but DB's need to know what they are up against. If you are beat you need to try something besides grabbing his arm, or worse in Nelson's case, tackling him. Something has to be better than that because what they did is a lock for a penalty. Some teams can get away with it, we aren't that team.

The problem is if he wasn't tackled he could have gotten to it. Take that same reasoning to the off setting foul play or other holding plays.

The light hold they called on us was with the ball in the air and away from the ball. Literally uncatchable.

Also if we are staying uncatchable balls are the rule for being no flags then they need to quit throwing them if the qb is not looking that way or ball in the air to everyone else.

Someone doesn’t understand the rules. Stop posting, you’ll look less stupid.
