If that's a fashion rule then I gleefully break it all of the time. If I'm wearing a non-white, non-black sock then it is matching either my shoes or my shirt. Preferably both.

Definitely 1 - 50. Considering I have about 50 pairs of socks, and just about every 3 years or so the socks start getting holes in them, I'd say they only last much less than 50 too.

These poll results are showing that we know very little about the socks that we wear every day. Either that, or there's a very wide variety in sock quality and we should be investing in high-quality socks if they're less than 10 times the price of cheap socks.

I would guess I have something like fifteen pairs of socks.
