On the post game they said that the person that scores the most goals on all levels is Saad

It's going to be a rough second half for FCD tonight. Two red cards in the first half.

Demonpenz 05-06-2012 06:01 PM

SKC had plenty of chances I some weak headers. I think Kei and Sapong get going. Bobby Convey can't get the rock and when he does he just passes it backwards. So sad.

Really? I have watched the reserve games this year and he has been unimpressive. Surprisingly unimpressive.

Dwyer is a bulldog that really gets after it and creates danger.

If you want a name of someone who is in the shadows right now that will impress people in the future it is Kevin Ellis. The guy is really good and works his ass off. I think he is going to be a player the organization rallies around for what he does on and off the field. Good kid.

Seems like if everyone isn't constantly getting forward, we can't really do much except rely on set pieces.

Why do you only post when we are sucking?

Where is the love brother man?

Too busy enjoying it, I guess. I need more comfort and solace when I get sad about losing. Trying to find a solution or some promise. I was extremely hard on Vermes last season and he turned it around. I hope he can find that magic again.

It will be interesting to see how they go from here. Wondering if we throw Teal in the mix more. I personally would love to see Peterson play some more for Convey.

Heading to Chicago next week with a shit ton of people. We are gonna take that place over. Hoping we can get a win.

I have yet to watch MTL game on TV. It is tough to get a *really* good overall read of what does and doesnt happen from my vantage point live. Did Harrington drop the boton? I didn't get the feel that he played well but also didn't see him play poorly but like I said I can only see so much when im at LSP.

Harrington was okay, IMO. Not great, but not bad. I thought the midfield was more of a problem. Seemed like everyone was dropping back too deep, which made it more of a chore to get forward and get chances. Also, the crosses from the run of play were pretty poor.

Fansy the Famous Bard 05-07-2012 08:57 AM

Zusi had a horrible game.

I still need to get the header updated.

Traveling to Chicago tonight for tomorrow's game. The Cauldron will be sending 375+ to the match tomorrow. Going to make that park our bitch.

I can't really get into the friendlies that much. I know a lot of people love them of course I am not huge on the EPL. I was holding out a glimmer of hope they would pull someone like Dortmund in but the story all along is that it would be a mid table EPL team. Oh wellz.

Sporting Kansas City announced on Friday that the club will host Stoke City FC of the Barclays Premier League at 7:30 p.m. CT on Wednesday, Aug. 1 at LIVESTRONG Sporting Park.

Stoke City FC will be the second Barclays Premier League side to face Sporting Kansas City at LIVESTRONG Sporting Park following the visit of Newcastle United in July of 2011. In 2010, Sporting Kansas City defeated Manchester United by a 2-1 scoreline in front of over 52,000 fans at Arrowhead Stadium.

"We look forward to welcoming Stoke City during their preparation for the 2012-13 Premier League season," Sporting Club CEO Robb Heineman said. "Kansas City continues to be a destination for international soccer matches and this will be another opportunity for us to showcase Sporting Kansas City and LIVESTRONG Sporting Park this summer."

Sporting Kansas City Season Ticket Members and half-season plan holders will receive tickets to the match as part of their ticket packages and will also have access to an exclusive pre-sale on Ticketmaster.com beginning at 10 a.m. CT on Monday, May 14 for additional single-game tickets to the international friendly.

Ticket prices begin at $20 and will go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. CT on Wednesday, May 16 on Ticketmaster.com or at the LSP Box Offices. Parking at LIVESTRONG Sporting Park is free for all Sporting Kansas City home matches.

Founded in 1863, Stoke City are the oldest club in the Premier League and are led by Manager Tony Pulis and forward Peter Crouch, an England international with 22 goals in 42 appearances.

Since gaining promotion to the Premier League in 2008, Stoke have enjoyed considerable success in England’s top division, advancing all the way to the 2011 FA Cup final against Manchester City. The club also gained entrance to the 2011-12 Europa League, where they progressed to the knockout stages of the tournament before falling in a two-legged series to Spanish powerhouse Valencia CF.

In preparation for the friendly, which has been brokered by Santio Sports and Entertainment, the EPL club is expected to hold training sessions at the Sporting Club Training Center in Swope Park as part of their pre-season. VIP packages, including the opportunity to attend a Stoke City FC training session and a coaching clinic with the team's technical staff, will be made available at a later date.

The match will be the sixth international event held at LIVESTRONG Sporting Park since its opening in June of 2011. The state-of-the-art, $200+ million venue hosted the U.S. Men’s National Team during the 2011 CONCACAF Gold Cup last June, as well as semifinals and finals of the 2012 CONCACAF Men’s Olympic Qualifying Tournament this March.

They are historically one of the better supporters groups in the history of the league. However the stadium wide numbers as of late are not impressive.

Chicago Fire fans are quirky and really passive aggressive.

They are like the Nebraska football fans without the good team and all the fans at games. LMAO
