Where's the gun? I can't find it in this photo.

When looking for the 1100, you need to play the theme from the lone ranger/William Tell overture. You know...titty rump titty rump titty rump rump rump titty rump titty rump titty rump rump rump

We always discuss guns on here. Let's mix it up.

What's some of your favorite ammo for your guns?
Best for target?
Best for game? (specify what game)
Self defense?

Any good deals?

We are stuck with Winchester, federal or Tula here. I used Tula for target with my 9mm. Now that I've upgraded to a 40 I'm looking for the most accurate ammo for target and cheapest. I'd also like to find a good self defense brand.

I'll have to use Winchester FMJ 180 grain, federal and Tula for target. I need to concentrate on finding JHP for duty practice.

Whaddya got?

Seriously. Bob Dole ain't spamming...if someone has something specific they are looking to buy, send Bob Dole a PM and discuss. Bob Dole doesn't monitor pricing around the whole country, but we has the best prices in this part of the country. (And a nice used inventory.)

That looks really good. What other duracoat options are there?

Nah, had a dude out in Topeka do it. He charged me $200 and it took him a month, but I figured that's a pretty fair price since if I was going to do it, I would have to purchase an airbrush and the paint and it would just be a logistic pain in the ass trying to find a place to do it all and it would probably not even come out looking as good.

The options are infinite man, you can do any color you want and they also have a million different camo patterns.

I didn't want a camo pattern, I just wanted a solid color that would protect the metal and not be the run of the mill black. That there is the matte version of the Blackhawk Coyote Tan.

Looks like he does good work. Does he have a website?

Sure does:

As far as I could tell, he just runs his shop from his house or maybe it's his 2nd house, IDK.

Just got back from the rifle range - had a nearly great day - the only hiccup coming right at the end when the pin that holds my buffer tube spring broke. Cheap part to replace though.

However, I finally got the damn red dot sight zeroed in, and this was the first time I used it with the new 5x magnifier. Got everything zeroed at 25 yards, then moved up to the 100 yard range. Once I adjusted for the difference I was putting everything in about a five inch group. Not bad for a middle-aged guy with deteriorating eye sight. :thumb:

Will post a shot of the targets later - I accidentally grabbed my buddy's rifle out of the car instead of mine, and the targets were in with my rifle. :doh!:

That was pretty cool. Seeing those Barrels jump was pretty crazy. And the .50 cal just destroyed that barrel.

I would like to get a .338 for my next precision rifle. If I was a rich man I would consider an Accuracy International or a Barrett.
